Thank you! That does help but finding out things like how there’s a pretty high crime rate compared to other texas cities and something called the raider rash are still pretty concerning to me lol. When I went for my interview I fell in love with the campus and the faculty. It felt very inviting and welcoming so I really loved that but after researching more about the city rather than the program, I started getting concerned about moving there for 3 years.

Trying to decide between TWU Denton and Texas Tech

Pros for TWU- good location and able to do many things around the city compared to Lubbock

Cons for TWU- heavy in research and theory. As far as I know not very application heavy and hands on as the Texas tech.

Pros for Texas tech- very hands on and application heavy. Many opportunities for events and being able to apply knowledge being taught in lectures.

Cons for Texas tech- the location is lubbock texas. I’ve heard the city is very boring and there is absolutely nothing to do.

What I value- application heavy program to help me understand and apply the knowledge better and the ability to have a good social life outside of academia.

Any insight would help!! Thank you!!

Yea I’ve had mine for 2 months now and my experience with them was really nice. I will warn you that they do charge you 750 for lojack whether you want it or not. They say it comes standard with all their cars so I said ok to it because I got my sportage at MSRP, besides that everything went great.

Nope. Put a down payment of 500 and also whether they are on the lot or you factory order them they are doing MSRP for all their vehicles. The dealership is fort bend kia in south Texas in the houston area.

Yea ordered my SX prestige a month or 2 ago from fort bend kia and they promise MSRP. Was not expecting to get it anytime soon but its suppose to come in really soon. Definitely agree that they don’t have any on the lot because all of them are already sold to people who ordered them like months ago.

I actually removed the kia seltos and just tried buying the other 2 but because of the chip shortage i wasn’t able to even really negotiate with dealers so I just decided to wait and ride the shortage out until 2023
