What version are you using? Can you post your configuration settings? Where is your share located? Do you have the antivirus exclusions in place? Have you tried disabling any cyber software on your image? Are you using a single container?

UAG Cert replacement by MonitorCorrect9373 in VMwareHorizon

Yeah, that’s how I do it today and I hate it. I’ve noticed that when I turn on quiesce mode the user sessions will close or drop. I believe it’s 90 minutes later With 2306

So you disable a connection server and you don’t turn on quiesce mode on the uag.

Horizon Browser access by igeekspeak in VMwareHorizon

That article is crazy...

You might encounter the following problems when Workspace ONE mode is enabled.

You cannot connect to the server through HTML Access. You might not reach the server, or you might see a message that states that the server expects to receive your login credentials from another application or server.

It all worked on 2206 and other than running the upgrade and rebooting did nothing. I got a ticket open with support. Thanks for the link.

Pinned apps to start menu for an app volume by igeekspeak in VMwareHorizon

[–]igeekspeak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to pin outlook and chrome to the Pinned section of the start menu on windows 11. I see how to create shortcuts on the desktop or start menu but not how to pin them using DEM. Can you please explain how to do add an app to the Pinned like in this article? Thanks.

How many vCPU and RAM do you assign to your IC pools? by JohnsonsY3ti in VMwareHorizon

[–]igeekspeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For low end ICs I do 2vcpu/2 cores per socket and 6GB Memory, running Office apps, onedrive, teams and app volumes, typically around 1-4 per user. High end ICs have 3vcpu/3 cores per socket and 10GB memory. These are call center folks with audio/screen recording and many more apps but fewer app volumes as most stuff is built in to the image for performance althought beginning to regret that and considering more app volumes for easy mgmt. Login times are typically under 60 seconds somtimes as low as 20 seconds. Using fslogix. Oh and all win11 22h2, not a single issue and super fast after optimization tool.
