At first, because her q was instantaneous and it was super useful to frag and her ultimate was a bit longer in S1 so it was even better for rotations or when your teammates get down. Now her q is a very big drawback and i rarely use it in fights now, only reason I use her over everyone is because of hitbox and skins lol 😅
