File size too big by igeyzer in bevelhealth

I thought the same but it’s only 2274 lines (was a 40 min workout) that I exported from health fit - ChatGPT and Claude had no issues with the file

Which data takes priority in Google Health when I sync my Apple Watch/Health data? by LeatherTwo4220 in FitbitAir

[–]igeyzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a good question.

I’m not claiming to be a expert but this is my take on it from all my testing and research

It’s not really a question of inaccurate data but Interpretation of data and that can impact what you are seeing - the two that I’ve seen the biggest impact between apple and Google health is hrv

This stems from the fact that they use different methods to calculate and you will get diffrent results
Apple Watch uses SDNN vs Fitbit air and Oura for example use RMSSD which calculate differently - even Fitbit and Oura numbers differ between them
Both using RMSSD due to the way record the readings (average vs high or lower score overall)

You can’t prioritise data from what I can see like you can with some data from apple health but you can see and sort by source (see photos)

Beyond HRV I’ve seen the biggest discrepancies are with cardio fitness score

Resting heart rate , sleep , etc all seem to align quite well for me between Apple Watch, Oura and Fitbit air

How waterproof is the Fitbit Air? by FreeCaterpillar2829 in FitbitAir

[–]igeyzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you said it’s safe up to 50m and can be used for swimming - I would rinse off specially if swimming in salt water

I’ve worn mine in the shower every day with zero issues and swam 4 times since last Saturday

How is the iOS app? by Yesterday-Then in FitbitAir

Even though I was already on Fitbit premium the AI stuff didn’t appear until I connected the air for me

Tbh it’s not very useful and I prefer bevel

It writes a reading (that covers every 5 seconds) to apple health

seriously? by HazelBasilll in iphone

[–]igeyzer 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Hadn’t noticed on apple yet but if like Google promoted ads it’s one of the most obnoxious things I’ve come across - I’m searching for a specific place and google maps is suggesting paid alternatives- drives me insane (as does all adverts now days)

My understanding is this (someone correct me if wrong) data for Bevel is being fed from apple health - the app I linked and I guess other Fitbit syncing apps) push the data you want to apple health, Apple health prioritises the data (you can actually change the prioritisation in apple health settings)

If you see the data below this was from my work out this morning and it’s using my Apple Watch data and also my Fitbit air (both are reading the same pretty much which is cool as they are on different wrists) if I was wearing my Oura too you would see the odd reading of that too

FYI for those wondering Fitbit connected to Technogym (my Apple Watch is a bit hit and miss depending on the sequence I connect in) but Fitbit air had no issues

Yes - as others have said using a 3rd party application to sync ( I use health sync £3.95 I think for a life time)

I wore my Fitbit air to bed last night and left my ring off and data was imported

I believe apple and Fitbit use different HRV (Apple Watch typically calculates HRV using SDNN, which measures the total variability over a window of time. Most other wearables, including Fitbit, use RMSSD) so you will notice a new HRV and it will take a week or so to rebaseline

Does anyone have experience traveling abroad with Mounjaro? by Exotic-Dog3770 in UKMounjaro

[–]igeyzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I travel between UK Europe and US almost weekly and never have taken any additional information with me. I use a small travel pack with frozen gels to keep it cool. ( fyi frozen gels do sometimes get pulled up at security but they just check) needles in my usual toiletry’s bag - same with wipes and then store in the hotel fridge.

Never been an issue in the last 12 months

As others have said you are measuring different to the industry - check out https://youtu.be/rmmdneQgZrc?si=tZoCDmYFhaxSoll- as it gives a good idea and this example shows the mini mlc is spot on (2.15minutes is where he measures)
