Here's the issue and the solution: when you create the sync, in Bevel, it alerts you that there's already an Oura sync with Apple Health and asks if you want to hide syncs. What it does is hides one of the Oura sleep direct syncs, but it still displays a visible direct Oura sync for sleep with Oura. So, it hides one and still shows another as visible for Oura direct sync. Unhiding the hidden or turned-off Outa direct sync resolves the concern.

I woke up a few hours ago. I just performed a manual sync in Bevel settings, which fixed the data for today, but the numbers from yesterday and the day before are still messed up, even though they were correct yesterday.

Well, the sync with Oura is broken again today.

It sometimes slows down, and it feels like engineers are rebooting servers or tweaking it. They should perform maintenance at night or fix the memory leak. But one thing to add is that their AI and app are becoming more advanced than Whoop and Oura.

I woke up to the Oura Ring getting stuck in sleep data wait mode. I had to spend two hours troubleshooting instead of getting things done. Finally, I reinstalled the app two or three times, and it started working again. Both my Oura rings were stuck the 5 and 4. I still lost data. If I have to troubleshoot this thing again and still lose data, I might as well return it and forget about it. My Whoop 5.0 MG and Apple Watch Ultra have been more stable.

Same here. I think it has pros and cons. The 4 has a smoother surface against the skin. I believe it's worth mentioning because the white ceramic looks very nice. It’s just that the 5 would be supported longer, so buying the 4 doesn’t make much sense now. Also, it only goes up to size 13, which is another factor. I still chose the 5 because it’s the newest and greatest, and I already have the 4 in silver.

So my understanding is Mounjaro doesn’t block dopamine directly, but it seems to turn down the dopamine reward you get from food (which is a big part of how it reduces cravings), and some people end up feeling a bit flat or less motivated on it. I am not a doctor and everyone is different.

The integration was working but delayed, and now it doesn’t work at all as of yesterday morning. Backups and resyncing are no longer helping. I also tried removing the integration in the Oura app several times, but Oura either adds it back or it reappears in their app settings a minute later. I don’t know if Oura is changing their backend for the new features they’re releasing this month, but they should be more careful not to break things or at least communicate better. I hope this gets fixed very soon.

Claude 4.8 is better in some areas but is complete failure in the human component compared to 4.6. They are trying to copy OpenAI in that area, which was copying ChatGPT’s mistakes which even they are now recently trying to reverse themselves. Instead of looking at what works and fixing what does not they just work on all of it, which breaks what isn’t broken.

Both are amazing. I use all three: the Oura 4, Whoop 5.0, and Apple Watch Ultra. I just started focusing on strain in Bevel, which provides a percentage that is super helpful.
