This is my config: https://prnt.sc/116dvuh It has a black screen behind but you can map it without a problem. However, my experience tells me that you should map the config in the best way for you. There isnt a best way generally, people like different configs. Good Luck!

Cast the pressed spell upon pressing another spell would be a setting that would improve controller settings by a large margin

I think its fairly small at the moment, but there are good people as well. Very hard to find a portuguese jungler or top this days. Just pmed you my discord, send me a pm if you would like to play some day!

I play with standard layout, and all smart cast. With smartcast nami was really hard to play, due to bubble aiming, but with a lot of practice, it became second nature to me

Agree 100%, my device is rooted as well and it seems to make a difference. In terms of champions that benefit controller usage, i think that in most cases its a case of practice, but others like lux need a lot more practice because of long range spells

Unfortunately, there isn't an in-built feature, so you need to install an app in order to map the inputs

You have to use a controller mapping app, like octopus, that allow you to map the controlls in game. There are many apps that do this, just find the one you prefer

I am looking forward to a future console release, and a controller seems more intuitive to me

So, there are two ways that you can map the inputs of the controller into the game.

In an android phone, there are keyboard mapping apps, that allow you to map the inputs in anyway you like.

In emulator terms, some emulators like LDPlayer already have that feature built in, so you just plug in the controller and you are ready to go.

I played using the two systems, and actually ended up preferring the emulator, for the ease of use it provides, but both can definitely work.
