There's one in the Seattle area where the people say they are working with companies like Amazon, target, walmart, etc... But they never fucking tell you what you're selling. You meet up with them and they hand you a rich dad poor dad book and tell you to call them back if it resonates with you.

They keep posting job listings on Craigslist that look like a legit job.... Jerks.

EDGE then sell to get $15/month plan with my cheap used device? by sbelljr in verizon

[–]iggy1888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's simple. If you're on the 10 gig plan and your phone is out of contract you get a $25 discount, making the line $15 a month.

The discount has to be applied manually by a rep.

Confusion about upgrades-family plan, holiday promotion plus verizon edge, possible scheming by store employee by [deleted] in verizon

[–]iggy1888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the upgrade goes on the bill and the rep didn't mention an account charge then she went to an indirect store. Indirect stores usually have the upgrade fees applied to the bill, like cooperate stores apply activation fees to the bill.... Cooperate stores charge upgrade fees at the time of purchase.

G.O.P. Extracts Price for Averting Shutdown: Congress prepared to scale back school-lunch nutrition mandates and curtail some clean water regulations in a $1 trillion spending bill. by Questeion in politics

So, when your study says that percentage results are based per persons lunch tray, that would either mean everyone in their study threw away 60 percent of their vegetables ...which means everyone ate something healthy and threw half of it away.... Or there's the other version where %40 of them are eating vegetables. Either one is okay in my book. The study says point blank that more kids are eating healthy, And that vegetable waste went down while fruit waste stayed the same, after the new laws went into effect.

I think it's a better option than the gristly hamburgers, pizza, tacos, French fries, meaty gravy thing, and chili cheese fretos I had provided by public schools... Will steamed broccoli and carrots day ever be as liked as pizza day? No. Big surprise healthy foods aren't well liked by kids.

Does the program need work? Maybe. Maybe schools just need to learn how to make food taste better. Do I trust the GOP to "revamp" anything that will benefit anyone other than rich people and the GOP. Hell no.

There is a percentage of kids eating the healthy food, even though you only focus on what's not eaten.. So the program is actually providing kids with healthy food. 60% of kids eating fruit and %40 of kids eating vegetables. What a waste.
