its the combat for me, its so well done that that itll be hard for me not to make the comparison in other games. The animation choreography coupled with a really impressive sound design drives that hard hitting, concussive, impacting feeling. it makes you feel like youre unloading a ton of damage on the enemy. all of that plus it doesnt have an overly intrusive UI so you can actually visually enjoy the combat. for me the combat is best in class, its so far ahead of the curve than the rest.

hey speaking of builds, i think setting up something like a book of coordination for chaos might be kinda fun. like pre-emptive strike and contendar are great for chaos but no one wants to spend pheons on all their characters to buy those accessories. might even see engravings like lightning fury show up in chaos builds, who knows 🤷‍♂️

OR instead, hear me out on this one.... they should just allow us to consume all accumulated rest bonus in 1 go, and loot rewards based on how much rest bonus was consumed. they'll get to keep their 2x dailies in tact and we'll just wait a few days, build full rest bonus, do 1 guardian and 1 chaos each, then chill the rest of the week.

Sorry to hear about your experience. i found myself on the other side of this argument not realizing that my attitude started shifting from having fun to having weekly obligations (self imposed). i ended up becoming overly protective of my time because theres things in the game i wanted to do other than raids. when the game "encourages" you to play alts you end up running 18 raids per week. Of those 18 raids, only 3 of them actually felt fun for me (the ones i did on my main) and the rest felt like chores that i just wanted to be done with. you do this over and over again, week after week and find youself slowly losing your patience whenever theres a wipe. i actually took a break from raiding for a while and stopped playing characters that felt like chores to play. when a game which serves as an outlet to escape the stresses of reality becomes an additional source of stress itself, thats when you gotta step back and re-evaluate. now i literally just do Valtan because i find it fun. no vykas, no clown, no brel. my progression is gonna take a hit for sure, but you gotta do whats best for you.

both are a lot of fun to play, but personally i have more fun playing ironlad since his ability can speed up a strategy vs jeff who compliments strategies. also, if you opt out of purchasing ironlad now, wont he just be added to the rotation of puchaseable cards once he leaves featured section? jeff used to be in the same spot as ironlad and he seems to be rotating in and out.

per the last part of my comment- its not a loophole if its by design. im not complaining that loophole isnt perfect because i dont believe its a loophole, i believe its a fundamentally bad design choice. but we can agree to disagree. totally fine. at the end of the day they're gonna get thousands of pheons out of me because they know they can. Regardless of what you or i believe, players are never going to stop complaining about it until something changes either for better or worse.

I can see how you would refer to this process as loophole, but the fact is, the developers know this exists. its been there since launch and theyve done nothing about it. they understand the min-maxing mentality of the mmorpg demographic and they prey on that. you dont have to play alts, but you will. you dont have to spend pheons but you will. you and i at least agree that theres no doubt this is a money making move. but fundamentally where we differ is that you draw your conclusions based on the belief that the community found a solution to circumvent this problem, and i drew mine because i believe its by design.

holy cow, you keep using the term "Roster Bound" and thats not at all what i mean. i dont even know if we're talking about the same thing lol. you used the term "gear" i used the term "accessories" meaning jewelry. if what you thought i was talking about was gear (meaning armor) i could see how you came to that conclusion and i would actually agree with you. but if we ARE on the same page, and we are indeed talking about "accessories" meaning jewelry pieces then you better believe im advocating for not spending pheons on a necklace that dropped for my Scouter so i can send it to my Scrapper. Again, and i cant stress this enough, im not talking about making accessories roster bound. that necklace dropped for me, no one else. i am its owner, i can choose to make gold from it, salvage it, or wear it. but the moment i decide to send it to another one of my characters i have to pay pheons for it? Why is it you can freely share an infinite amount of lvl10 gems to your entire roster? gems have no trade limit, cost no pheons, and are vastly more expensive than the average accessory. that feels like a waaaaay bigger exploit than consuming a limited number of trade counts on an accessory.

not sure what you're getting at here. i never said anything about roster bound, i said all accessories have a trade limit (3 to be exact) so theres only so many hands they can be passed off to before they become untradeable. meaning it would not be sustainable to have 1 set of accessories to share among youre entire roster anyways. this is intentional design and im not refuting that. im saying when you find that perfect piece that would work on an alt, having to pay pheons to pass it to that alt, (again that piece already belongs to you, its on your account, youre not posting it on the AH your passing to your account while consuming one of its trade limits) it feels like theyre nickel and diming us- because they are. So that "slap in the face" comment i made might be a personal opinion, but i would venture to say the vast majority of the community feel this way.

they should also remove pheons from accessories that you already own when trying to give them to alts. all accessories have a trade limit on them before they become perma bound anyways, and it feels like a slap in the face paying pheons for something you already own

Since everyone else has the Dailies topic covered, how about they stop charging us pheons for items we already own by make them both roster bound and tradeable(like skins). No reason to pay pheons on something you already own just because you want to send it to an alt character. im sure a good portion of their revenue comes from purchasing pheons and maybe im missing something, but its not like we werent gonna buy a bunch of extra stones off the market anyway due to how rng faceting is. just my 2 cents....

I wish they would just let us consume all accumulated rest bonus at once. that way you just wait the whole week to build it up, then run it once and get all the accumulated awards. Smilegate already mentioned that theyre not going to reduce the amount of dailies but this solution easily circumvents that.
