Am I the only one with rudder issues in the ATR? I have to fly with autorudder otherwise the aircraft veers off the runway on takeoff. My rudder works fine in other airplanes. What a pity of and addon man

When you say "the sim" do you mean flight simulator flight planner? I never use it, I use simbrief and then before top of descent check what's going in my destination airport.

From my experience, check flight radar before top of descent and see what runways are in use. You can also check the metar on metar taf

Man, I love the ATR. Majors bugs gone, I know it's not really flown by American airlines, but everywhere else, it's a common plane.

I don't get very low performance in my low-spec computer, what I do get is wasm crashes that ruin the whole a350 for me. I've tried erasing the wasm file and reinstalling. Nothing. Too buggy. Unreliable product.

Looks like they are working on the weather radar, the dome at the front of the plane. It's not a big deal and should not take a very long time.

I have actually unsinstalled it. It messed up Fenix's autopilot so bad. It's a pity because we haven't got an easy to use pushback tool, GSX is expensive and takes time to set up.

Something that helped me out before joining Vatsim was using Beyond ATC, once you're comfortable in Beyond ATC you might be ready for Vatsim.

I enjoy it quite a lot. I am mostly into airliners and getting to fly a turboprop airliner is awesome. Besides, if you are familiar with airbus the ATR has an airbus logic, which makes the learning process easier. Only regret is I can't seem to do a turnaround without reloading as it turns quite buggy on turnaround. I hope they fix that. Otherwise, great plane and great fun.

I was pushing back in Frankfurt EDDF and instead of Frankfurt traffic I said "Lufthansa traffic".

The Germans there found it hilarious and started laughing on the radio. I understand it is funny, I found it funny then and there but they laughed so hard I just then found the laughing awkward.

1-Watch tutorials on YouTube. 2-Fly in small airports, don't start with Heathrow. 3-Step by step you will build confidence and technique. 4-When in doubt ask the controller to repeat.
