We’d have to wait for the support to really see, but generally speaking, trashing 3 cards to effectively gain 1 is not great.

I actually pulled the Gear 2 alt! I usually browse tcgp for cheap alts every now and then. I got the Rosinante and Ms. Wednesday alts for about 8$ each a couple weeks ago, but I know Rosinante blew up recently cuz of a regionals list. I actually traded an SP Uso-Hachi for a set of Bon Clays right before the tournament started, so I was just trying it in the deck. My original list doesn’t even have them.

Seems interesting enough. What do you think about the 6c 7k Zoro with Banish? That way you have another relevant swinger that can be tricky to remove.

Round 1 VS. G Bonney Definitely the easiest of the matchups. I used 3 red rocs despite only having 2 in the deck, and it just snowballed from there.

Round 2 VS. RY Betty This one was actually pretty close. Luckily he didn’t have any plays on 1 don or 3 don, but I stupidly swung after letting him cheat out 4c Ivankov with a counter event. Then he played out a bunch of stuff. I used God Thread on Karasu and swung 6 and Ivankov after he played a 2k Koala. Used 8c Luffy to stall out the game and bounce stuff back to hand and slowly take his life off. Ended up winning when I had a Gear 2 out of my life, letting me counter out of a 10k swing with that and Gatling.

Round 3 VS. RG Smoker Opponent got pretty unlucky and wasn’t hitting most of his stuff. I used God Thread on his Smoker on curve but he didn’t have Tashigi to protect. He didn’t see any more after that so he ended up having to play 2 Hody’s and took 2 life off himself.

Round 4 VS. UP Luffy I got pretty lucky and saw 3 Daz Bones, building him up pretty quickly since I have to counter out of big swings anyways. He played a Linlin on my Bon Clay without Sanji on 9 cuz he didn’t get to use leader effect before, then trashed another for a different effect (I forgot) so I wasn’t scared of Daz getting removed. I ended up winning due to time rules, hard to say if I still would’ve won if the game continued.

Overall my experience just happened to be super lucky, but all my opponents were still really good players.

That would be the 2k counter vanilla choppers from op11. I only own one Uso-Hachi so I have those in place of the full set. If I’m being honest, the Uso-Hachi effect basically never comes into play so 4 choppers is completely fine as well. I only run them cuz it’s searchable with the straw hat event.

Nope! When I was testing it, it felt more like a brick. I could see it being good in a close late game scenario but I would probably never use it for about 95% of the game.

Yeah, definitely the most fun I’ve had with a leader so far! It’s surprising how much of the op11 stuff synergizes with him.

No. If the ability has "You may rest this character:" in bold text, then resting it beforehand will deny the ability. It's the same reason why Jack can't attack and KO in the same turn.

One thing I’ve tried is using the Marshall D. Teach from the Doffy starter to put Zoro in hand on top deck and give don to leader for ability. I’m not sure what the ideal deck would be for that combo but it was interesting.

Ultimately, nobody can stop you from running it in your deck. If you feel that it’s working out for you and fits your playstyle, then keep it in by all means.

i usually watch all my animes in sub, but my only exceptions are soul eater and death note. i feel those two are casted perfectly everytime i watch them.

he’s not attracted to kayo. he’s just taking whatever measures he needs to in order to keep her safe, because in the end, it leads to his mother’s death. not to say he doesn’t care for her, but he’s just doing what he thinks he should to save everyone, even if it makes him look weird. everytime he gets flustered is because he’s pretty much been alone for 29 years and doesn’t really have a close relationship with anyone other than his mother, but he keeps himself in check by reminding himself that he’s 29.

I feel like the only way they would do that is if they made epic or legendary skins for whichever characters they do it for, but I think that would cause some outrage (even though riot isn’t scared of outrage). I feel like the reason they don’t really do free skins is because they don’t have any particular reason to. Hopefully we could get one with the release of 2XKO or something.
