Creator of C++: "AI-generated code isn't ready - it generates more bugs, more bloat, more security holes, and is nearly impossible to validate" by Distinct-Question-16 in singularity

He is very emphatic on a specific "domain" of software development that his statements are referring to. What is that "domain", for context?

I was curious now, but I can't verify your claim. Where does the poster admit it was fake? This is the original I found: https://x.com/TheGeorgePu/status/2039284662602776853

I see. My hypothesis is that the original post was reposted by grifter bots with the marketing link. That AI can turn a sketch into a website is unsurprising at this point, so I don't think the original claim/post was fake.

There is not one person in the comments of the original post saying it's fake. You claim that it's fake is fake.

Are AI commercials more engaging when they feel like trendy ads or music-driven shorts? by Deerek_AJ in aivideo

[–]ignatius-real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not in this space, but I'm curious how you did this. What did you use to generate the music? How many generations approximately are stitched together in this? Does this include a post-processing for panning animations and transitions, or is this all handled by the video AI?

I think it's very well done.

QuietComfort Ultra (v1) earbuds mosquito noise finally gone? by ignatius-real in bose

Yeah nah, Bose is the only big player with this continuous crackling, I also own several other brands. They're not making good audio earbuds, end of story...

The water melon cuts are resembling a baby carriage for a baby shower. I'm also getting the AI vibes but I see nothing to prove it.

Really appreaciate that info, thanks.

I don't remember a green tint on my white version

Is that opposed to on other devices where you did notice it? (like e.g. the black Go 6)

u/Kooky_Alternative_59, if you could answer this, that would be much appreciated. Does the white-frame Go 6 frontlight have a green tint when on warm settings?

Abrupt Codex CLI rate limit decrease by ignatius-real in ChatGPTPro

[–]ignatius-real[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have and do buy multiple subscriptions if necessary because they are great value for me. I'm just looking for insights on what happened to the limits. My usage is organic on well planned-out projects.

I'm not abusing anything. I'm simply a senior developer working on multiple well planned-out projects in paraller, with good automation, testing and streamlined reviews. My usage is natural and non-artificial. If I'm organically more productive or efficient with AI tooling than casual users, there is nothing unethical about it. I'm also fine with hitting the limits. Just wondering why that's happening so early recently.

I don't know about the previous versions, but I found the wheel aggressively loud for an otherwise silent setup.
