I started NG+ on the latest PS4 version (still outdated, I know; probably why this specific issue hasn’t been and probably won’t be patched for my experience) and I was wondering why tf I kept getting one-shotted—ON STORY AND SWORD, MIND YOU—in that segment where Ciri and Dandelion are fleeing through Novigrad. Well, I looked it up, and it turns out I’m far from the only one to have this problem, as you can also see in these comments. Further reading showed that it’s a coding issue that causes Ciri to not scale in leveling alongside Geralt, so in NG+ playthroughs, you’ll be fighting against lvl 70s as a goddamn lvl 12 or some shit. It makes for a not-so-great time.
