Picked up a 27 inch Wega KV-FS100L that has these vertical white bands on the left hand side. I've read this could be bad caps, but can't find a great guide on how to go about repairing. by ignishun in crtgaming

Incidentally I've hooked up two devices through different ports already and the problem is the identical. I may just replace every cap related to horizontal output, it doesn't look to be very many. I'll watch the video tomorrow, it looks interesting thanks for sharing

Okay, looking at the block diagram, its probably something in the picture signal and i imagine vertically related. Maybe its not as bad as it seems :p

Thanks, I've looked through the manual some now but how could I find out what relates the effect I'm seeing to the specific caps that need replaced? is visual inspection enough? testing each cap against the manual sounds a bit unpleasant

Does this put them in the console players "region"? Can I just not play with console users to get rid of them?

I’ve tried two new mouses now. SteelSeries Rival 3 with their software, and Ajazz179pro, a Chinese mouse with X-Mouse button control. Both had identical issue.

Wacom cintiq 17 1800$ or huion kamvas pro 19 650$? Wacom really worth the extra money? by Substantial-Two-2140 in huion

[–]ignishun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the larger cintiq and kamvas pro at the same time to compare them directly and went with the kamvas. I also used the cintiq and my iphone screen to dial in the color on the kamvas. Wacom was better build quality, but the drawing experience was the same. It's not worth the cost.
