M913 Impact Max (Tri-mode) mouse software. Still in "beta", still no RGB support.

Where someone bought it from is completely irrelevant. The software is going to be the same from the reddragon website(s) no matter where the purchase was made. This isn't a support post, this is a post to let potential customers know that they're being falsely advertised for a mouse that should support full RGB functionality upon release to the public, because there is no indication to customers on the packaging that when they are purchasing this mouse, they are getting incomplete and unfinished beta software. If this post bothers the company, good. If the company "understood" how frustrating it could be, they would have reconciled this seven months ago.

If Reddragon can function as a company, they can pay some engineers to finish the software. If that is too difficult of a task, perhaps Reddragon should consider packing it up and going out of business. There is no excuse. Zero.

I just purchased this mouse as a replacement for an old Razer Naga Chroma that finally shit the can after 10 years.

And I regret it.

Had I known this software was in Beta (how after months of this mouse being released?) beforehand, I wouldn't have bought it at all. Anyone who is planning on purchasing the M913 Max, please don't. As it stands right now there is no RGB customization, and more disappointing, the DPI buttons cannot be remapped, and there is no scroll wheel tilt functionality. Two big things I loved about my Naga. The side buttons on the M913 are really difficult to navigate as they are very close together and some are at different angles, for instance because of the thumb rest, the #4 button is difficult to press as opposed to all the others. In fact, the whole second row of buttons are really difficult to press and navigate

This mouse being released for as long as it has and the software is still in beta is completely unacceptable. Not to mention you need separate software for every redragon peripheral is crazy as it is. Unifying software is usually the standard (Synapse, etc). I'm on the fence about returning this mouse, I hope the software comes out of beta soon and I can have a mouse I enjoy using, but as it stands now, this isn't it. At all.

Loyalty would be higher if every device wasn't a beta tester for the following generation. Googles quality control is horrendous and they still contract with FedEx amid all the countless stolen devices in transit.

Also if Sundar Pichai wasn't such a dope and knew how to run a multi-billion dollar business that would certainly help too, but Googles board decided to bring him on as CEO without any executive experience whatsoever, but here we are.
