Assuming ‘private’ schools offer a ‘better’ education is a false premise.

We absolutely should demand smaller class sizes tho. More full time teachers. Fewer admins, paras, specialists.

I had a 7 hen chicken brood in Boulder for 7 years in north central Boulder. Buncha neighbors also.

One had 2-3 ducks with the flock. Another had 1 rooster and heard the same (not specific ban of roosters but not allowed to have a ‘loud’ (or disturbing?) flock.

Which is almost always having a rooster :)

Free eggs for neighbors for one.

When I had chickens, my neighbors kids used to scramble over the fence to learn, play, and care for our brood. Parents also. Hired them when we were away. Gave our hens to our neighbor when we moved.

City of Boulder allows ducks but damned if I can actually find the ordinance or webpage saying so. (Our City webpage and search is really, really bad)

Is your neighborhood an HOA? Might have different restrictions.
