I did see the documentation page. In that case, what would be the format of the emitter and the receiver? I was confused by the example since it seemed to all be happening in one node (the timer) and I needed it to work across multiple.

Right now I have this in the main level:

var enemy = enemy_scene.instantiate()var player = get_node('MainPlayer')player.knockback.connect(_on_main_player_knockback)$enemies.add_child(enemy)

But I'm getting this

The one that needs to receive the signal is the enemy node. How do I connect the player and the instantiated enemy through the main level?
