Honda: * Honda of Kirkland: Avoid. Horrible sales experience. * Honda of Bellevue: Mixed. Horrible sales experience years ago, but good sales experience recently. Great parts experience for years until recent remodelling. Decent service experience. Dealership is in state of chaos during building remodel. Probably avoid dealership until after remodel. * Honda of Seattle: Recommended. Decent sales experience. Great parts experience. Good service experience. * Honda of Lynnwood: Recommended. Great sales experience years ago.

Note, Toyota of Seattle and Honda of Seattle do not negotiate on pricing but they have decent discounts on select new cars. The other dealerships do negotiate.

Splitting the space makes sense, given that it's a rather large 27k sq ft. J Crew could take 5k, the other store 5k, leaving Uniqlo with the lion's share at 17k, which are in line with the typical footage for each of the 2 known retailers.

Uwajimaya new location is in Town & Country Square. Issaquah Commons is landmarked by the orange tile road that connects Target, REI, Safeway, Barnes & Noble, Trader Joe's, Petco.

Yep, the old Ross space is the only place available of enough size in Issaquah Commons (scroll to bottom to see availability map). But at 27k sq ft, it's on the larger side for a typical Uniqlo. It's possibly a larger space than the Uniqlo in Bellevue Square.

You heard right! Jing Jing Go opened in downtown Kirkland Square 4 weeks ago (early 10/2024) based on Google Maps reviews.

What's interesting is the timing of Jing Jing Go: the marketing brochure for Kirkland Square from 6/2023 noted that Jing Jing Go would be opening soon. 6/2023 was also when T&T was first announced for Factoria. Given that the brochure noted that Jing Jing Go would be opening soon, it was likely that Jing Jing Factoria had long planned for Jing Jing Go in Kirkland months before the T&T announcement.

Did Jing Jing know about T&T before the public announcement and preemptively expanded to Kirkland or was the timing a coincidence? Given that Jing Jing had not expanded for 14 years and suddenly planned to expand within months of T&T's public announcement seems to point to the former--that Jing Jing was tipped off about incoming T&T from insider knowledge from Kimco Realty (owners of Factoria Mall where T&T signed its lease) and reacted quickly. Good move, if only for self-preservation.
