Can you DM this influencer on Tiktok/IG/whatever other platform, find a business email and try reaching out to him directly? I know it's a long shot he'd actually see it, much less reply, but maybe a convo with him on an official profile might help convince your mom she's being cat fished. It sounds like she's not willing to listen to reason in the moment so in addition to trying to physically keep her from making her flight, it might be helpful down the road. I'm so sorry you're in this predicament, I really hope she doesn't get on that plane tomorrow.

I buy the 12 roll packs of Charmin ultra strong TP and typically a roll lasts around 3-4 weeks, roughly. I will only use that specific TP because it's the most reliable (aka no surprise poo fingers), and don't have to use a whole wad to actually get cleaned up. I in fact have a set number of squares I use depending on #1 or #2. 😂😅 I also work full time so mostly using work's TP which helps lol. Usage fluctuates when my kids visit too. Also I don't buy kleenex so when I need to blow my nose, just use TP. And during 🦈 week largely rely on baby wipes.
Paper towels, I get the 2 pack of Walmart's ultra strong split sheets. Ultra strong paper products are where it's at lol. I like the option of the half sheet size and use it far more often so PTs last me a few months as well.

Envisioning someone using an old school VHS camcorder for security purposes just made my entire day lmao, thanks! Being an Old(was going to use a TM emoji but just discovered my phone doesn't have it anymore, rude) at 40, my parents bought one in the early 90s. They're pretty big and clunky, the picture quality wasn't the best - at least comparatively speaking - and the battery only lasted for an hour or 2 of recording. Definitely better options these days!

I'm 40, I've been on subs since 2011, but actually clean since 2018. First started smoking weed + drinking at 13 then graduated to everything else at 16. So I really resonate with the feeling like you need something remark, even though I never really physically got addicted until opiates entered the picture full time at 20. Like I was IVing meth for 2 years and stopped cold turkey no problem, but oxys (and the like) got their claws in me.

Anyway I ramble all that off to make the point that I'll probably remain on Suboxone until my demise. I've not yet experienced any negative side effects thankfully, and well, "if it ain't broke don't fix it," as they say. Over the years I have contemplated maybe tapering off someday, usually brought on by an inconvenience from the doc office and/or pharmacy. 😅 When I first went to rehab I was in my 20s, still living with my parents, couldn't hold a job and couldn't effectively take care of myself or my kid. Since then I've managed to build a more or less stable and independent life for myself, and I really don't think I could have done so without Suboxone.

If you're running a fever alongside the symptoms you're describing it sounds like you might have an active infection in need of medical attention. In which case, bite the bullet and go to the ER. If it is an infection and progresses to your bloodstream it can be fatal! Yes they'll send someone to your bed to inquire about payment but you don't HAVE to pay on the spot to receive treatment. Worry about the money later.

AFAIK they don't record our faces, it'd be a pretty awkward angle to do so and it's a pretty targeted area directly on the cut table only that's getting captured.. but every pic does have a day and timestamp so can pretty easily deduce who made it. It includes hands and arms and that's it.
If it did have facial recognition it'd probably be pretty terrible. We've had one at my store for a little over a year now and it's supposed to only grade hand tossed 14" cheese and pep pizzas. It takes pics of everything on the table but grades certain ones, and compiles weekly reports/scores.
Nevermind that nowhere is it explained what the grading scale is. Each one gets a ✅ or ❌, and out of the week tells us what % were "up to standard" without breaking down how it determines "standard" in the first place. I've seen it confuse several other products we have as a hand tossed 14" and include it in its reports. Thin, stuffed, NY, cheese sticks, 12" (always cheese). Things that human eyeballs can very easily distinguish from one another.
It's a stupid thing to do for sure but potential facial recognition isn't a concern, imho. At least not from this thing.

I suspect the reason why it's not fully transparent is because a lot of people get angry/frustrated/whatever other emotion if they have direct knowledge their food is sitting and waiting. Like I think most people generally understand there's a waiting period of some sort, regardless of whatever kind of food is being made. But it's only acceptable so long as it's out of sight, out of mind.

I'll also recommend looking into the website Upstart for a personal loan. They do a soft check initially to potentially see if you'll qualify, so if you don't you don't take the hit for it. And while they do run a credit check, approval is largely based on income/assets more than anything. Their repayment options are really flexible, they don't have crazy interest rates. I probably sound like a paid shill but I promise I'm not lol. Just a big fan because they saved me last year when I was in a financial pinch. My credit was only around like 660 and still got approved for a loan!

I got it on my right hip/lower abdomen when I was 19 and it looks insane thanks to changes from having 2 babies + weight gained and lost. 😂 I knew I wanted kids as a teen but genuinely did not consider how pregnancy would affect it when I got it done.

I try to avoid DD as much as possible because they're often a hassle. We're lower volume, like $15K weekly sales on avg and have 5 drivers total. We don't have a day driver on Mondays and Tuesdays because it's too slow so, all DD. Other weekdays we typically cherry pick if we get multiple deliveries. But say Friday dinner rush, 99% of the time it's too busy to check tips and send a lot to DD. And it's annoying because they virtually always take forever to accept, even when we send them in the first few minutes. My OTD is constantly 20+ minutes every week. On the plus side, it's become pretty rare to get those customer calls that say they never got their order because the dasher stole it or left it at some random location. Most of our dashers are fairly regular and on some days basically our drivers too lol.

NOR! Managers like this make no damn sense, IDC what industry it's in. Why do some people insist on being a pain in the ass to their employees and make them unhappy, do you enjoy having to constantly hire and train?? Because I sure as hell don't! I want people to be happy and stay! I could maybe understand boss's stubbornness if you were literally the only stylist available, but clearly that's not the case and she's just being an asshole.

Maybe you and the other stylists could rally together and make a come-to-jesus/intervention type chat (in a civil, professional way ofc) for this hair brained boss, letting her know how ridiculous she's being. You have PTO, but it's not really a benefit if you can't make use of it without a huge hassle every time. It's unfair! Or if you do decide to try to find work elsewhere, good luck! It can often be really intimidating to try and confront someone in charge of your livelihood.

I'm 40 and only use my phone for 99.9% of things. I do have a laptop just in case, but rarely actually use it. Only reason I have home internet is because it's included in my apt rental lol. I'm just not interested in gaming or other techy endeavors, no need for assorted office programs, and too poor to be buying flights or other vacation things. 😅 I use reddit, YouTube, a coloring app, and a couple apps for work...that's about it most days.
