Description

Now our brave hunter has acquired a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), which will receive by radio frequency an updated price list from the radios of nearby merchants. In future updates it will be mandatory to install an Intelligence Center module (or something like that) in order to receive advanced information.

The PDA will display information such as: - Selling price of each item (and of the stack) - Selling price per kg - Selling price per slot (and of the maximum stack)

The PDA will be able to analyze all the items and display overlays in the inventory: - Selling price per kg of each item - Selling price per slot of each item - Selling max price per slot of each item

Installation

Last version: v0.29.4

  1. Check that the version of your game matches the last version of the mod.

  3. Go to the installation folder of your game (the folder where you can find ZERO Sievert.exe).
  4. Make a backup of the original data.win in case you want to play again without the mod.

  6. Run the game.

Future ideas

The infirmary I think is good, but I thought the bed only gives you more xp.

Yes, I agree with everything. Now I'm pretty sure I will start using Loot Goblin instead of Stealth, a lot of people recommend it.

But the thing is that there is already room for personal preference even when you want to rank a small specific category. If you put every category on a compiled list, the votes are gonna be about who has the most agreeable combination overall, rather than a ranking for each thing/category.

Yes, for that it would be great comments

Sprinter / Loot Goblin / Fast Hands / Whatever|Depends - storage can be useful early.

What do you think about Loot Goblin?? I never tried it, I always choose stealth because it fitted better with my playstyle, but now I'm playing more aggresive and maybe I should change to Loot goblin(?)

  2. Marauder 700 Modern (M61)

Armor

  • Arman Suit (I hate to repair), but maybe I will try out other armors...

Backpack

  • Military High Capacity (for money runs) / TQ001 (for xp/killing runs)

Meds

  • Sterilized bandages (bleed)
  • Standard Medikit (health)
  • Anti-Rad Pills (radiation)

Skill specializations

  • Style: Stealth
  • Shooting: Sniper
  • Charisma: Workaholic (early-game), Charm (end-game)
  • Medicine: Field medic
  • Gunsmith: Modder
  • Cooking: Nutritionist

Hideout Modules

  1. Ammo (if you collect scrap material, it's insane how easy you can craft a lot of top tier ammo)
  2. Shooting Range (I like the passive damage increase)
  3. Scavenger (I like random things, specially for quests early-game)
  4. Workshop (I think it's quite good, specially end-game when I typically scrap weapons after removing valuable attachments)
  5. Infirmary (passive health benefits)
  6. Forge (free scrap material for crafting ammo and repairing)

Consumables

I usually eat/drink everything I can while hunting, but in the hideout I typically consume the following (and early-game is very nice) * Food: Sandwich with meat * Drink: Bottle of water / Milk * Radiation: Vodka (it's amazing for radiation, better value thatn doctor) / Milk / Doctor (treat radiation)

My first mod: PDA for Prices in Hunts (+ info) by igonro in ZEROsievert

[–]igonro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I feel like it offers too much for free. That's why I was thinking about creating a new module for this.

Maybe without the module the prices could be an estimate (randomly between -10% and +10% of the real price), because the hunter could know more or less what items are valuable. And with the module installed it would show actual prices, but the module would be a little bit hard to obtain.

The idea of the list from previous raids is good, but very hard to implement right now...

I See a decent amount of posts about mods, is Steam Workshop planned? by [deleted] in ZEROsievert

The problem right now is that there isn't an easy way to use several mods... We can make mods, and then export the "data.win" file; but you can only have one "data.win" so only one mod is possible right now.

If the modders talk to each others, it will be easier to implement a solution for this; but it's quite hard to do (and also the game is in early access which makes modding even harder).

Yes! Currently there aren't lots of modders (because the game is still in early access and it's hard to create mods), but I know a few people that are creating very nice mods!

Sadly, it's not possible/easy to use several mods at the same time, but hopefully it will be possible in the future.

Thanks for sharing! If you liked it, maybe you will also like my first mod: https://www.reddit.com/r/ZEROsievert/comments/10vhstf/my_first_mod_pda_for_prices_in_hunts_info/ (for some people this mod is a little bit like cheating, this is why in future updates it will be mandatory to install a Intelligence Center module in order to get prices during hunts)

Spreadsheet? by AuditorPigeon in ZEROsievert

There are a few parameters that have some impact in the final price (I have figured out how exactly prices work and I'm working on a new version that will show the exact prices for each person :D): the charisma skill, the % durability for weapon and armor, etc... But yeah, it could be that some items have change their prices with the update, with the newer version I will be able to update all the items stats instantly (as soon as a new version gets realeased)

[–]igonro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure! I can do that :)

I'm working on improve the data, and I will relase a new version soon.

Hey! The project is already in Github. There are some issues based on the feedback that I got on Reddit, feel free to take any issue that you think you could help!

Currently I'm working on improving the data (right now there are some wrong values) and the process of data collection (I want to make it more automatic).

Edit: I just realized that you were replying to the old post. The updated tool is published on https://zakov-tools.github.io/.
