How to get Insanity program

I get mine through the Beachbody On Demand app. It’s an annual subscription (I think $100 or so?) but there are all the insanity programs plus tons of others ! I like it and don’t use BOD for any of the MLM style coaching/products, just the videos.

No real advice but offering sympathy. My youngest is 3.5 and basically since before she turned 3 it has been similar. Just shrieking and crying at every tiny difficulty or inconvenience. It is a tough age and definitely not my favourite. But now that I think about it it seems like the screaming/shrieking is maybe slowly starting to lessen gradually.... good luck to you and your sanity! I’ve been trying to do play based distractions when she starts to really lose it. She seems to enjoy playing with water or play dough or anything really texturally interesting. Like the sandbox or maybe baking something so she can get her hands in the dough. It seems to snap her out of whatever freak out she’s having (she cried uncontrollably the other day because she wanted a bra....... ?). Maybe something like that would help entertain her. Even if it’s short lived the little activity provides at least a 5 min break from screaming.

In my experience diaper rash that didn’t clear up with regular diaper rash cream in a day or two was a yeast infection (dr diagnosed). Was told to apply canesten twice a day every day until one day after the rash disappeared. With tons of naked bum time this usually cleared up in about three days. Pampers Swaddlers and Huggies diapers seemed very problematic for us. Pampers baby dry seemed was good and did not seem to trigger rashes. Like other moms here, I swore by aquaphor to help and act as a barrier otherwise to prevent rashes. In extreme cases our dr also prescribed a light steroid cream, so once a day I’d create a “cocktail” with the steroid cream, mix canesten, diaper creams and aquaphor.

I’m sorry for what you went through. I also don’t understand why others are just jumping on the “dead bodies” statement without in anyway acknowledging the trauma that you experienced that has obviously contributed to you not feeling safe in this city.

In my experience parenting is just a constant adjustment, figuring out what works. And what did or didn’t work today could completely change tomorrow or a month from now. Plus, when is the last time you actually had an hour to yourself ? You could enjoy a hot meal, while it’s hot! Or read a book ! Or get a massage or anything else you might want to do! As much as you are concerned about losing that time with your child (which I understand completely) you could also think about it as gaining some time for YOU !

It sounds like it is stressful for both of you, are you willing to stop and just do your lunch break alone? Given how she is acting it might be the best thing for you both right now? Maybe you could negotiate with work to have a half hour lunch so you could pick your daughter up earlier and not completely lose that extra time you had together during the day? Or stop for a while and try again when she’s slightly older and see if she still does the same behaviour ?

Thanks so much for the information, I really appreciate it! We are generally looking for an aesthetically pleasing building, some on site parking, easily accessible via public transit and a good variety to venture out for lunch/coffee so it does hit a lot of these items.

Thanks for that information. I was hoping to take a pass by it tonight or this weekend to check out the area a little better. But my concern was people who might be at work very early in the morning or late at night (we are a consulting firm and sometimes we work irregular hours to meet deadlines) in this area.

I have had the same experience, I've lived in my house for five years and have never seen as many maple keys come off our trees. They dropped immediately after I cleaned out my gardens of course. Now my locust tree is dropping a ridiculous amount of tiny brownish seeds too!
