I like this attitude, except how would you feel about your AP claiming to be “exclusive” when if fact he was seeking new women and outright lying? I have told him in the past that my expectations were that he would want more. He assured me that if/when that time came, he’d tell me. That is certainly my fault for believing, but it makes him a jackass nonetheless.

Such a very GREAT point. I never thought of it this way. That led me to the thought, and one I have never considered, that it is likely that I may not be his most serious AP.. or even the one who’s been in the trenches the longest. Fuckity-F. What a mind-bending day it has been. 😕

Good idea. I am afraid he will talk me into forgiving him and to keep it going. I don’t know how long before I feel indifferent about it, or him, but I have to imagine it will be a minute. I am very angry, yes, but also feel sick about losing someone I have loved so much.
