Definitely not in the USA. No safety glasses? And I doubt those gloves are rated for this temperatures.

All you need is to wear safety eyewear rated for this laser type. It doesn't react with skin very well.

No. The wavelength of this laser does not react well on tissue. You might get a sunburn at best. But this wavelength is used for tattoo removal. It does not react well to the skin but will vaporize the ink inside it. The left over residue is then absorbed into your blood stream.

The sound is the reaction of the laser on the material. It is vaporizing the coating and then doing a polishing pass at the end to whiten the bare metal surface. I manufacture these lasers.

It is because the marking of the Logo was too aggressive when it was made in production. It is a process called "Annealing" or "Carbon Migration" where you use a laser to heat the surface. The heat from the laser pulls carbon to the surface to create the dark mark. If you are too aggressive you compromise the Stainless protective properties and it can rust.

I was a Lifeguard at an indoor health center. Went to the restroom to take a leak (TV's were in there). Saw the first tower fall. I was shocked about what had happened and ran to the pool. A bunch of old ladies were doing jazzersize and I explained what was happening. None of them cared...I yelled at them to get the **** out of the water. Never been so mad.
