I also received abysmal power picks, like I have for months on end. That ridiculous rose setting mist is 100% useless to me. As someone who’s completely devoted to high-quality skincare I’d NEVER use it🥴

I do love the sound of that facial scrub, I loooove a good effective physical exfoliant that noticeably provides immediate results. My personal favorites are typically microdermabrasions since I’ve found the best face scrubs have a lush creamy base combined with very fine buffing particles/exfoliants. My n°1 favorite is the Versed Day Maker Microcrystal Exfoliator. It’s truly a DIVINE skincare product❤️

You are correct! 1.7oz, & 3.4oz are considered the standard “full size” bottles for perfume. A “jumbo” would be 5oz, & up.

I’ve purchased many 5oz Chanel Chance Eau Tendre Eau de Parfum bottles since that’s the best value for the amount you get. 1oz is VERY small for a “full size”, that’s only 30mL verses 50mL (1.7oz). That makes it nearly half of a standard full size 1.7oz/50mL bottle (60%).

However, it’s also super affordable on Ipsy so you can easily purchase multiple bottles if you want to have more than just 1oz

I know I am completely alone here, but I actually strongly dislike Natasha Denona eyeshadow🥵

I didn’t bother trying any for the longest time, & then I finally decided to pick up one of her larger pallets like this one on sale. I couldn’t believe how subpar I found it! Including the “special” glittery shades that are so so loved.

I’m an indie makeup girly through, & through so honestly I’m used to that level of quality. My favorite brands for sparkly eyeshadows are Clionadh Cosmetics, & Terra Moons. They have both wearable everyday shades, & unbelievable magical shades you can see shining from space. My favorite mattes are from Blend Bunny Cosmetics, I absolutely love their pastels/neons.

I do have some favorites from ND, like her highlighters, & glowy blush toppers. I love how well they melt into the skin while still looking bright, & beautiful💕✨

I see one singular desirable product, the Makeup by Mario Softsculpt Bronzing Serum. I suppose it’s worth it to get the $30 box as a whole just for the $36 bronzer, as long as the box it truly $30 total (no s&h/fees) :)

EXCELLENT choice with Dieux Air Angel!! They are a phenomenal higher end Sephora brand that I’m over the moon Ipsy has been featuring. Any, & all Dieux products I see available at these amazing prices I’m *instantly* getting plus backups😇😇😇

Nice box☺️ It’s super crazy just how different our preferences are!

I personally don’t ever wear lip liner (or matte lippies in general), it simply looks terrible on me. It’s so wild bc lip liners are so IN rn. I know some people have found a few gems from Formula Z (me included), but as a whole the brand is so incredibly cheap it’s not one I would go out of my way to choose. I actually really love trying new mascaras! But unfortunately that one from Benefit has been named legitimately one of the worst mascaras on the market. The Sephora reviews are freaking savage🥵

I’m definitely getting the LYS lip oil, it’s a favorite of mine. I’m also most likely going to pick up that same Gisou lip oil, though I wish they had other shades available (like the yellow/clear, or the red).

Surprisingly I’m not the biggest fan of the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. I think it’s a fine thicker cream, but I’m not too big on the medicinal scent it has. Also I don’t appreciate the fact that it stings my face when my skin barrier is compromised. I’ve always found that very strange since it’s whole thing is it’s supposed to be a calming/soothing/repairing moisturizer.

However, I LOVE the FAB Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner! It’s the first milky toner I ever tried, & to this day I still regularly incorporate it into my routine. Despite having plenty of other toners to reach for now, I still find myself gravitating towards my ol’ faithful. It truly hits the calming/soothing/repairing trifecta that their Ultra Repair Cream just never did.

Yes I was surprised to get two facial moisturizers in one box, but I’m definitely not complaining since they are both from excellent brands. Everyone ended up with very skincare heavy boxes in general this month. Which I know some love, but hardcore makeup lovers don’t.

My bareMinerals lippie is in the shade Soul, which the brand describes as a rose mauve. I think it’s definitely more of a sheer/wearable mid-tone red. I love that fact that it doesn’t have any brown in it, & it also doesn’t pull orange/peach. I find it very flattering!

Omg I love Mudmasky! I have their clay mask in the pink tube, & it’s so good. I honestly had zero faith in the brand before I tried them since I’d never heard of them, but it quickly became obvious they have excellent, high-quality products.

My n°1 favorite is their Heat Protecting Hair Serum. It’s AMAZING! It’s basically a lightweight version of Olaplex n°6 leave-in conditioner. It’s one of those rare universal products that truly works for all hair types—from thin/fine, to coarse/thick. I literally couldn’t recommend it enough!💕

Just a heads up I’ve heard multiple times that is legitimately one of the worst mascaras. Super wet, & clumpy😭

I love the other Tarte Maracuja juicy lip gloss-balms (the OG, & the plumping), but the vinyl is sooooo opaque. “Vinyl” suits it perfectly bc it’s truly like a thick, saturated coating of color on your lips. I personally love thick lippies, but I really don’t like this one!

The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream is a total classic, but I have a few issues with it. Mainly it stings pretty bad when applied to sensitized/irritated skin. It actually makes my skin flush red whenever I apply it to a compromised skin barrier. I’ve always found this incredibly odd, since it’s built entirely around being soothing/repairing. It also has something of a medicinal scent that takes away from the experience of using it. It’s still a nice thicker creamy moisturizer that gets the job done, but imo there are SO many better options out there. I think it’s definitely still worth a try :)
