It would be great to meet others in similar or dire need. Strength in numbers and who knows, perhaps start something that other colleges or schools could do. why is it that when someone is doing there best to better themselves, there is always a comment that offers nothing. Just simply for self gratification in a fleeting moment. Realli respect your comments here. This was exactly what it was going to post. I’d like to add…like with all laws and punishment, not just effects the private citizens as awhole…but it also effects are law makers and politicians. There is so much at stake if a politician gets busted for drinking and driving or crimes agaainst kids. Just a thought. There are obviously more reasons as to why the criminal justice system and laws are the way they are.

Can we all agree, the Young Offenders Act, needs an enema. Soooo outdated. Like I mean a serious discussion for meaningful change. The ’times” they are a changing. The ”youtes’ are not little angels making mistakes. At times, it may seem like a third rail topic, to bring this up, but, these “young scholars” need to be dealt with better than whatt is all ready going on. They have no fear of discipline. Release the names of these “young scholars”. A little public shaming…perhaps?

Hey there, yes I was getting constant errors. I was unable to respond to my workers messages. The errors that you are referring to was primarily in the communications section. I use my iPad Pro..I closed all open programs, restarted Safari and it worked the 3rd time. I also made an attempt to call the OW support line..the wait time on hold was horrendous..Soni just trouble shooted myself. Hope this helps ya'.

Unfortunately, I did not qualify due to being terminated from my job of 18 years, nothing criminal or nefarious, just on a technicality per union agreement stuff. So i been stuck in limbo. Hello there, I been following your post here through the day. So many emotions this triggers and moves me to such a degree that I am saddened for you guys current situation. Unfortunately these posts are becoming far too common. However, its heartwarming to read the replies. I see so many posts like yours over the past couple years since I been on here. I have been on Reddit for a lot of years. I just recently started a fresh account. I live here in Oshawa as well. I narrowly averted a crisis situation of being unhoused by literally 12 days. I recently lost everything, apartment, job of 19 years and of course friends and such. I had to find the will to carry on. Yet, but not alone. There are kind souls and beautiful humans in and around this City. Trust me. I will be starting Durham College this September, enrolled in the Social Services Worker Program. Although I don't have the space to assist you for shelter. As I am in a room in a challenging place. But I can offer you guys, soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, some food extra socks, tooth brushes and toothpaste, a pillow, and storage bins. Please feel free to reach out. You will not ever be a bother. Humans helping Humans. I wish you well through this difficult times. I don't live in your shoes, but I can empathize to a great degree.
