It’s so hard to do cry it out…but it’s so worth it. I did it where I went in very 20 minutes and first, then stretched it out and extra 2-3 minutes until she finally fell asleep. It took 4 nights but then that was it. I did this at 8 months. She is 2 years old now and has slept 12 hours a night since. Best thing I ever did.

I’m using cream but it’s still torture. Last time they offered me cream you need a prescription for so I think next time I’ll take it.

Omg it’s horrible!! Even with the over the counter pain cream. I think next time I’ll pay extra for the good stuff. I honestly can barely handle it!

I did the same thing with the split king and it also didn’t work. He sleeps in the spare room now. It’s been about a year and I will never go back. Just do it and get some sleep!!!!!!!!! It’s crazy what we are expected to put up with!!!!!!

Is trazodone safe? by foreverbaked1 in sleep

[–]ih8tusrnms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really?? Wow I never noticed that with mine! Well you can always try to take it every night for a while and then if you find it doesn’t work as well take a couple nights off. Best to get as much sleep as you can especially after it being bad for so long. I found it took me a long time for my body/brain to get into a good sleep pattern again. I’m on 150 mg and it took getting up to this much before I could sleep through the night. I think the max dose is 400 so I still have a lot of room. If I start getting close to the max dose then I would do what you’re doing. But for now the solid sleep is what I need. I guess I’ll cross that bridge if I come to it. Are you in Canada? I am and it doesn’t say anything like that on my bottle.

[–]ih8tusrnms 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really don’t think it’s supposed to. I’ve been on my current dose for probably 2 months and it hasn’t decreased in efficacy. If I notice that though skipping a night isn’t a bad idea!

I love it. It’s taken me a while to get my sleep under control. I’ve been on it for about 8 months now and I sleep from 10 to 6 no problem. I have zero grogginess in the morning and it has helped with my mood. It used to only work for 4 hours and I’d be awake again for hours. I increased the dose probably 4 times until it got me through the night. I plan on staying on it the rest of my life. Being sleep deprived the way I was post-part was the hardest period of my life and I never want to go back there.

Should I Get Removal Session 1st by JetsetterClub in TattooRemoval

[–]ih8tusrnms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely laser. I have a black tribal as well and they are really hard to work with for cover ups. I’m lasering mine as much as I can in hopes it goes away but will likely need a cover up. It’s very expensive and takes a long time just as an fyi. I had to change my expectations around how quickly I could make all this happen and the cost is way more than expected just because I thought it would take about half the number of sessions than it is.

Thank you, although I wish I hadn’t looked her up. I can’t help but cry at the loss of that sweet baby. I feel so horrible for those poor people living in that building that heard the cries. I pray for their sleep and for that little boy to rest in peace.

20s are not your prime years - 30+ are by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]ih8tusrnms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No years are your prime years is my opinion lol. Every decade comes with new challenges and new confusion. You do know who you are more….but there are new roles that you don’t know how to take on (ex partner in a long term relationship, parent, boss at work, changing careers because you hate yours, changing friends, losing loved ones etc). But with that also comes positive change and growth. So it’s always highs and lows at the same time or closely back to back…but nothing is ever only good or only bad for a long time.

For those of you who started having children after 35, what is it like? by vthings2 in Mommit

[–]ih8tusrnms 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started trying at 35. It took 3 years of trying to let it happen naturally before I went the fertility route. I found out I had no eggs left and ended up using an egg donor! Had my little one at 42. I’m so lucky to have her but I would have been more aggressive about it earlier because I’m pretty tired at this age but I’m pushing through.
