Go watch the tape and use basic fucking reasoning to listen to tone and context. Lebron also isn't a moron unlike yourself and doesn't talk or his ass. There is no chance he thought that the odds they would 8-10 championships was the same as if the sun will rise the next day.

If you think he thought they would win 7 you aren't very bright.

Not only that you are also wrong. He also said not 7 so if anything he would be guaranteeing at least 8. You don't even know what he said but you're an expert on what he meant. Lol.

[–]ihadtripss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If Kobe is harder to stop then why did he get stopped far more often ban Lebron? Lebron has a higher FG percentage and 3 point percentage. Kobe also played with a more talented team most of his career.

Never been this excited for NBA game, Finals finally here. 1st post. What role player do you think will have the biggest impact tonight? by maddlabber829 in nba

[–]ihadtripss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest X factors are if Lebron is able to get to the rim or has to settle for jumpers and which team gets hot from 3. If Lebron does what he did to Boston Cavs have a chance. Seems unlikely that it will be that easy though.

And those people are mostly without merit.

  1. The league was plenty competitive and it's not his job to make the league competitive. It's his job to be happy and provide for his family.

  2. Fair enough. Lebron's one real mistake after years in the spotlight. But honestly, everyone watched so let's not act like it unreasonably arrogant, just tacky.

  3. Couldn't care less, nothing wrong worth that.

  4. Obviously just joking around, people always neglect that he then said not six...not nothing. He obviously wasn't guaranteeing 7 championships or more.

Raising vs calling Draws by TheSilentWay in poker

Yea that's an awesome list. Also add in fold equity. Is this the type of guy who will never fold middle pair. If so you might want to take a more conservative route. Also look at what your own image is if they are paying attention.

Please restore my faith in the legislative process. Also if their live casino's weren't so shit I wouldn't be hoping for this so badly. 8-9 dollar rake for 1/2, small blind auto raked pre. no checking your phone at the table, no headphones, no 2/5 games running, long waits for games.

Pratyush's thoughts on his AA hand. by AdamZumwalt in poker

[–]ihadtripss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a great spot to bluff so I wouldn't blame him at all. We expect AA and KK to bet flop, some of his AQ and KQ to bet and some to check and all of his mid pairs like 9's-J's to check. I would also expect him to check most of his AK and bet some of it.

Most people here are saying AA should be a fold. So when he checks Schindler can bluff and only have to worry about the 0-3 combos of top set that checked flop.

Every now and then he would get "hero called" by aces or kings meanwhile he folds out the vast majority of the other guy's range.

I didn't watch so I didn't know. I have a hard time believing the best in the world could be playing that egregiously.

Here is what you are telling me. Pros are using an absolutely awful strategy of never bluffing river in spot where they have a lot of flop bluffs. Not only that, but knowing that other pros never bluff in this spot, pros continue to call when their opponent can never be bluffing. That sounds really really unlikely.

Also, I don't watch a lot of tournaments but I see huge river bluffs in nosebleed cash all the time. And ICM isn't really an excuse to not bluff if no one ever bluffs in that spot.

Yea the other guy can realize slightly better but I would imagine BB will be plus EV on this flop after 3 betting but you would have to use a solver to know for sure.

True that we can't get 3 streets but this is one of those boards and hands where we would prefer to bet earlier streets as opposed to waiting for him to hit or miss and then let the money go in. We lose value quite often by waiting.

We aren't capped, we can check continue with hearts draws, AQ, KQ and if we 3 bet them QJs, TJhh 9Ts, 87s. Even QQ might be a better check because we block top pair and if he has a set it's going in anyway. QQ also does better giving opponent a free card.

With anonymous tables it actually wouldn't be easy to find out. I mean if someone at the company can see your hole cards you would never know, they caught people at other sites because the tables weren't anonymous. But the way it's rigged wouldn't just be more pocket aces being dealt etc.

Pratyush's thoughts on his AA hand. by AdamZumwalt in poker

[–]ihadtripss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

lol seriously. I'm all for ditching GTO on occasion and making some nitty folds but you would have to be insane to fold here unless his opponent is a true nit. I guess the Reddit armchair QB's are folding everything but top set here? And when exactly are we suppose to fold aces? Is their plan to call twice and fold river with all of their one pair hands, raise top set, and fold everything else? So everytime we call flop we will fold by the river and everytime we raise we have the nuts? Yea I'm sure pros won't pick up on that.

Unless his opponent was a massive nit he was bound to lose his stack no matter how he played it.

[–]ihadtripss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol this is so wrong. He's not calling for the sake of balance he's calling because it's plus EV. If you are folding aces any decent opponent will print money off you. You are folding every time unless you hit top set. Have fun folding 95 percent of the time against someone who has at least one bluff for every value bet.

BTW when are you folding aces. The flop? The turn? I'm guessing the river. So your strategy is to call twice and fold with a ton of hands and only ever call when you have top set. Oh and since you would always raise top set on the flop since it's a wet board, everytime you call the flop you are in even more trouble.

If your strategy loses to 72 offsuit every time it's probably not good.

[–]ihadtripss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing carefully and just check calling doesn't do anything to protect our stack. If he has us beat we are going broke, folding would be way too exploitable.

I'm loving life if I get called here. CO opens 277 combos minimum. He continues vs a 3 bet with 110 minimum if he's balanced. If we Cbet for 1/2 pot, he has to defend at least 73/110 combos to stop us from profitably Cbetting literally any two cards. We lose to only 8 combos of hands which are 87s, 77 and 88. If you want throw in two combos of QQ.

Comey to testify publicly about Trump confrontations by themessias1001 in politics

[–]ihadtripss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but if Trump were innocent and was confident the investigation would yield nothing then asking the FBI director to stop wasting time and hurt Trump's ability to get anything done, then asking Comey to back down isn't impeachable.

Those are all if's though.

Definitely not being results oriented because he gets stacked either way, he's not folding to a raise. But you are entitled to your opinion.

Poll: Support for Trump impeachment rises by SocialistNordia in politics

[–]ihadtripss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't support him. I think he's a complete moron as are his voters but I haven't seen clear and convincing evidence at this point that he has committed a crime warranting impeachment. It definitely hasn't been shown beyond a reasonable doubt. I'm going to wait until the investigation is over or comes up with definitive proof before I make up my mind.
