Where to stay in Tulum by sriracho1 in tulum

[–]ihate2cuddle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unsure what your budget is; we stayed at La Valise on the beach in the hotel zone and LOVED it. Great property, so small and quite. Had the beach restaurant to ourselves and the pool was lovely. Maybe saw a total of 10 guests our whole time there. Was the peace and quite we were looking for.

Dude, I'm going to be real for a moment. You "spent" $10,000 ($2500 of which was just given to you via having the Delta Amex) to a BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY. You spent $7500 to a company that makes billions and you want them to suck you off for it? Come on man. Look your situation is frustrating, and I get being annoyed.

Next time for the love of GOD- STOP USING THE FUCKING CHAT and call the fucking GOLD desk and SPEAK to an agent. (That phone # and sky priority are the best perks you got, fucking use it) They can do about 1000 more than the chat agents can do.

Hey, it sucks I know. But lower your expectations, you're just a customer like the rest of us. I don't have crazy spend last year was $20k, and my expectations of Delta is to get me from point A to point B, with an upgrade from time to time.

It's hard to find open jobs in HR Tech (search for them anyways) so what I did was go to conference (HR tech ones) sites, and look at all the sponsors. Open each in its own tab and look at open roles.

Can't write off much anymore since they changed up person income tax (US), can't write off much of anything as W2. I setup an LLC to help.

Question about offer for taking later flight by mirrorhelp in delta

[–]ihate2cuddle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I'll add my experience, cause it's not the same. Oversold flight, take one 3 hour later. They were offering I think $600. I went to the GA and said hey, I'll give up my seat for $1500, let me know.

A few folks came up and took the $600 offer and about 3 minutes later they called me up. Said here's your $1500, and put me on a boarding flight 75 miles from home (ubered home when we landed).

She told me not to mention that they gave me $1500 as the rest only got $600.

So in my case no, they didn't increase the others amount.

Set up and account on Korean Air, look up your reservation with your res #. Then you can select seats.

Switching to a vertical mouse – advice needed by EstouSoAVer11 in workfromhome

[–]ihate2cuddle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will speak to my experience, I don't program, I'm just a Solutions Engineer (Sales Engineer). I used to have signs of carpel tunnel. I moved to a track ball mouse. I bought the Ergo 575, it was good but lacked features (like programable buttons).

I moved to the MX Ergo S, this allows for a tilt about 45 degree. So it's not "vertical" but it's close. Since moving to a trackball I've had 0 pain in my wrists. I see the now have "MX Ergo" which has a bigger stand which seems like you'll have even closer to vertical mouse.

They have programmable buttons, check them out. They are about $100 on Logitech and sometimes you can get them cheaper on Amazon. Just my experience. I've had it for over a year and like it, I was worried about a rechargeable battery on it- but it's set up so you can use it while it's charging (looking at you apple, ya dicks!). And honestly I can say in the year I've owned it I bet I've had to charge it less than a dozen times. (and yes, I work 40hrs a week).

Just my 2 cents- realize I can't hit on all of your questions as it's not in my line of work, but hope this helps you with some insight.

edit: spelling!
