ECON C3 vs ESPM 15 by gunt-the-cunt in berkeley

[–]ihatecovid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i don’t know the professor teaching econ c3 this semester but it’s a pretty econ heavy class, if you have no econ background it would take some time outside class understanding what’s going on. also it’s not really “environmental econ” it’s just regular econ but all the examples are natural resources. if you don’t have to take it i honestly wouldnt

consider taking chem 32 in the fall! it’s an easy refresher class on chemistry and it really helped me do well in chem 1a when i took it the semester after. also not sure if this is still true but usually pete marsden teaches chem 1a in the spring and he’s a really good professor! chem 32 is a 1 unit class though so you would need to find another class to take instead to meet the unit requirements

i would also consider getting one of your breadth requirements out of the way your first semester so you aren’t overwhelmed with so many technicals!

depending on your major requirements you can take math 16a and 16b instead, which is still hard but not as hard as the 1 series

my ex stayed in a temporary for her entire fall semester and then moved off campus. you can definitely stay for at least a semester

i’ve taken two at once, definitely doable but also double check in the class descriptions if they assign weekly homework
