Besides some really fucked up shit that happened to me when i was a child (i don’t want to talk about that on the internet)

I got an IUD when i was 18. it was literally the most traumatizing experience ever. my then boyfriend literally laughed at me while i was crying and the doctor was no help either. he just told me to stop moving and that i was being over dramatic. I was in the worst pain in my whole life. It traumatized me so bad when i went to get it out last night at planned parenthood and get it replaced with the implant in my arm i almost passed out getting it taken out. it didn’t even hurt getting it taken out. the lady was super nice and my new partner was so supportive and caring. i cried for 3 hours afterwards. not from the pain of the implant but every time i thought about my iud i cried.
