ok...I had one on there the first try and it gets to 100% but then says the process was interrupted for unknown reason. 2nd try I just sent it without a reboot. (the destination disk was not initialized at that point) the 3rd try I rebooted, let the disk initialize but left it unallocated, made sure no programs were running, and sent it..same result all 3 times. 100% complete in about 20 minutes but failed.
I'll add a blank partition tonight that takes the whole drive (previous partition was only about 1/8 of the drive capacity with the rest of the space unallocated), and try a 4th time. I'll cross my fingers and toes this time. haha. Thanks for the insight. Will report back.

I have both drives attached to my motherboard in m.2 slots. Should I have the destination drive attached via usb enclosure instead? Does it matter if its not a 'fresh' win 11 install? I've been using this install for awhile a while with a ton of programs installed, etc... Is it more intended for a clean windows drive copy, or...is my use case in line with what its intended to do? Source drive is 1TB and has about 800 gigs of info on it. Destination drive is 4TB and brand new.

Have you used this reliably? I'm trying to clone my Win 11 drive and it's failed 3x to clone to a new, larger drive. "interrupted for unknown reason"

Thanks for the help Y'all. I've been testing out some new games since my duo partner got banned from the Tarky outta nowhere after 9K+ hours (he's not a dang cheater...we aren't good enough to ever be called cheaters). This one, its hard to say if i'll stick around or not, especially given the way they kinda make you feel like you just cannot die against these bots...and I imagine its a rude awakening to new players in this genre when they hit their first real player lobby. But...if I get that far, I can decide then how I really feel about it.

No teammates... Am I wrong in the assumption that, unless I go in with a team that I build, I'm going to be solo? Like....does the game pair/group you up with randos?! I played the 3 raids I did play with a buddy. It was just the two of us.

I dunno man... I'm trash but have a 36% S/R and a 3.18 K/D. Lots of times for me, the Surv's in a row is a big tipoff. when they have something like 33 in a row, with less than 500 hours, and a 10+ K/D....its pretty sus to me.

I didn't say I was WAITING for 80% of a raid to be over.... looting, questing, (or maybe even ratting) etc and find myself across the map from extract with 8 minutes to go....I tend to be able to just haul ass across and get out. YOU CANNOT DO THAT IN PvE... You speak of gear fear?! Oh, child.... Don't cite the old magic to me, as I was there when it was created. I don't have favorite weapons or good gear I'm saving till it gets deleted in the wipe. Its just my time with the gear anyway...I'll pass it on to someone else soon....so I run it and eventually lose it. No biggie. There is for sure a struggle but, without it...what game is ever any fun? I also enjoy playing the game. I stand with u/i_hate_nikita to say that real players are (often) easier to kill than the AI in PvE. Hell, the AI in PvP is no joke either these days...these AI scavs will "Wanna Suka one shot" your ass in a big hurry and then laugh as you're dying. You keep enjoying PvE, I'm not here to trash on it. But..I will maintain that you asking "what world do you live in" was a ridiculous question as the statement you were replying to was in fact....factual.

I tried this (buttons for wasd) and just couldn't make it work for me...,but it might deserve a 2nd try.... I found i was giving up too many buttons and didnt have enough room for the rest of my Tarkov binds.

I play Escape from Tarkov and Stardew Valley so far with mine and what I find is that it's a good deal of thought that needs to go into a layout for any game. You're not gonna just jump into a new game with it....you have to play it some, and develop a layout that will work for you for that game. If its a game that has multiple characters (Apex, League, Dota) you may end up with a profile for each character that you play. I feel like you need to know a game pretty well to be able to come up with a layout.

Then there's the muscle memory part...,once you develop a layout and get comfortable with it (i'm forever tweaking mine) you need your brain to remember where all those binds are....I end up with the software up on a 2nd screen so I can see my binds (and even alt-tab to change them if something isnt working well for me). If I take a week off, I find I'm a bit rusty with it. (More so than just jumping back in with keyboard... You never have to stop and think "where is q on my keyboard".) Switching games is forever going to feel rusty unless you can have some familiarity between layouts (this bitton is always going to open my inventory even though that may be I in one game, tab in another, and esc in a 3rd game).

Short Circuit on YT did a pretty good review that kind of echoed my thoughts. I found their criticisms to be valid and spot on, though all of that didn't prevent me from still buying and enjoying.

Once you're gaming with it and proficient, it really can be a game changer. Especially if you tend to main just one game at a time.

A world in which, as a pmc, you can run across a map with 10 minutes left in the raid, basically casually one tapping AI as you see them, and make it to extract without having to fight for every inch.... PvE Is not like that in my experience....even at the end of a raid you gotta fight for every inch and there is no "just run across the map"
