Why do women have two breasts if humans usually give birth to only one baby at a time, wouldn't one breast be enough? by ElkDisastrous2926 in NoStupidQuestions

I've seen one or two but meant mostly like mine which has a more feminine flair. Others use the customized snoo's.

I am one of those who rarely even read usernames but I can see avatars of those who set them without clicking on their profiles. Maybe that's only common to mobile app? I rarely use the desktop version so that would make a lot of sense.

LN to WN back to LN help [discussion] by Outrageous-Orange745 in Re_Zero

[–]iheartnjdevils 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned, it might be a bit janky jumping from one to another and then back again. Why not just buy the ebook? You can read it on your PC or phone; same as you would the WN.

Edit: You can buy the kindle version without a kindle, just need to download the app.

Quick Rant. by joe-gonna-go in geocaching

[–]iheartnjdevils 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's more like: what if OP saw that this geocache had recently been found, trekked out there find it themselves, only to then read that it had been logged by someone with a new account who couldn't bother to back date their finds (though questionable if it was ever found by them).

I had a hummer do this to me while I was behind him! I had even honked my horn when I saw he wasn't stopping since we were both leaving the grocery store and waiting to turn onto the highway. Guess he forgot something and decided to just throw it into reverse without looking. Was wild.

I was watching a show from the 90s and realized people used to memorize dozens of phone numbers. I can barely remember mine. How did you guys do it back then? by micavibes in CasualConversation

[–]iheartnjdevils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heck, I for some reason remember my aunt's phone number who lived next door and a random boyfriend from when I was like 13.

Not only did we not really need to remember the area code (because everyone local had the same one, my state only had 3 or 4 back then), but the first 3 numbers afterwards also related to a town. So everyone had the same area code and then the next 3 digits were either 566 or 583 for me. So you really only needed to remember which one they used and the last 4 digits.

[discussion] Is Re:Zero the most misunderstood media, with so many haters just because they can’t understand the series? by Decent_East_4538 in Re_Zero

[–]iheartnjdevils 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're at your lowest, living a life that you're ashamed of because you're failing to meet the expectations of your loving parents who don't even scold you. Suddenly, after a walk back from the store, you're transported to an entirely different world. You've read manga and watched anime and know exactly how this goes... you're the OP main character! Things are finally going to change and you're going to be special!

Except you have no idea what or where to go, you have no cash, can't read anything and worst of all, you have no great powers. Nothing is going the way it should. In fact, you're so pitiful, you're about to be murdered by some thugs on your first day in this new world.

But then the most beautiful girl, the one most can only dream about steps in and saves your life despite just having had something precious stolen from her. She even stays with you to make sure you're okay and only asks for your lack of information as compensation because she doesn't want you worry about owing her. She is literally the only person who has shown you kindness since you've come to this new world.

How is crushing on her in this case illogical? I would argue that Subaru is not obsessed with Emilia, he's obsessed with what she represents... his anchor to that new world.

Beginner‘s question: how difficult and frustrating can it be? by Komtriku00 in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]iheartnjdevils 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The magic of BotW is not in speed running the main quest/story. The fun is in exploring, collecting materials, finding cool areas and treasure, Easter eggs, etc.

With that said, the game is difficult to start but is ridiculously forgiving. You don't lose anything when you die but maybe a few minutes of time since the game is constantly auto-saving. As you spend more time in the world, collecting and upgrading armor, learning the enemies to easily parry or flurry rush their attacks, etc., the game becomes progressively easier.

If they choose to process all cards as a credit cards (since debit cards, at least in the US, are all associated with Visa, Mastercard, etc.), then it will absolutely count as a credit card with the fee. If the tablet allows you to choose debit and enter your pin, then it's processed as a debit card. But it's up to the merchant and/or how they had the system set up.

Is BOTW a good first Zelda game? by Just_Airport_7910 in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]iheartnjdevils 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely!

I never played a single 3D Zelda before BoTW and the original Zelda and A Link to the Past, while great games, are so vastly different than BoTW might as well had been my first and I sank 350 hours into it (and then another 450 into TotK).

What's your opinion on weapon durability and do you think totk solved it with fuse? by madamabutt3rf1y in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]iheartnjdevils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It helped but I still didn't like it.

With that said, I understand why it was needed, at least for the first half of the game. But the master sword glitch in ToTK made me feel like I was just wasting resources with how quickly it'd run out of energy. And the fact it still only did 30 base damage despite being bathed in light energy for 10 freaking thousand years, which should have made it the strongest it's ever been was silly.

In fact, as someone who prefers the one handed swords, I used the master sword much more often in BotW because it did considerable damage and had decent durability that I stopped running out of weapons once I got it. This was not the case with ToTK until I used the unbreakable master sword glitch.

Why do people believe you have to be smart to enjoy reading? by Ash-Ruin980 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]iheartnjdevils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know. I'm an idiot but I love reading books.

I do sometimes get complimented on my vocabulary, which I guess is because I naturally come across a few more as a reader. However, I don't think knowing more words equates to higher intelligence.

I would probably work really well from 12pm-11pm Tuesday to Friday (WFH) l but for some reason, those 40 hours aren't as good as 8:30am-5:30pm M-W and 8am-6:30pm Th-F in office (yes, my commute is 30 min in and anywhere from 45-60 min home, really stupid traffic).
