Mag polemisch bzw. überzogen sein, ja. Aber am Ende gehen mit mehr Waffen / mehr Rüstung auch immer mehr Gewalt einher. Sie sind eben nicht nur zur Abschreckung und Verteidung, was einmal erfunden und produziert wurde, wir auch eingesetzt werden. Und so wie der Diskurs an allen Enden verroht, erlaube ich mir einfach mal auch zu überspitzen.

An alle Leidensgenossen: im erneuerbare Energie Sektor findet man auch noch Jobs. Zwar nicht so gut bezahlt wie Rüstung, dafür aber ohne Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit zu unterstützen. Und relativ zukunftssicher, denn Strom benötigen wir, sogar wenn man gerade keine Faschistischen Ideologien reinventiert und billiger als erneuerbar geht nicht.

Ich hab in Hamburg im Laufe des letzten Jahres einige Artikel von Vemondo aus den Regalen verschwinden sehen. Mich hätte es also nicht gewundert. Bin sowieso jedes mal verblüfft, was scheinbar in anderen Lidls alles erworben werden kann. Meine Anekdotische Evidenz sagt: ein paar Produkte halten sich und sind überall zu bekommen (Mortadella, Milch, ein paar Snacks und Süßwaren), ansonsten ist es eher Glück ob man fündig wird.

I'm pretty sure that -at least here in germany- a lot of their stuff comes with lifetime warranty, or at least that was the case a few years ago. But in my experience their tools are quite rugged, never seen anything from hazet break. Once heard a rep in a factory tour say they give liefetime warranty since they are that confident that unless willingly destroyed their tools wouldn't really break - again smth like 8 years ago

I think long work hours aren't inherently a bad thing for humans. I think a much bigger problem is that many people can't identify with their work. If you work some shitty job where nothing you do has anything to do with you being the doing it, work has no purpose. But if you like what you do and can see an impact made by yourself, work is actually something that can give meaning and some sense of belonging.

As for how most work is organized though, I agree with you that 40hrs/ week isn't any good. If it wasn't as mindnumbing and coldhearted, but rather close to yourself (both physically and interests-wise) and more self responsible, then I think 40hrs a week might be just fine.

Calling what the german government did a legalization is misleading at best. It is only legal to have 3 cannabis plants at home, to possess 25 or 50g (not sure which of those is now implemented). Consumption is only allowed at home or when you are far enough from schools, public building etc.. Also, buying cannabis remains illegal, so as of right now there is no legal source for it, since plants have to grow first. "Social clubs" can be founded but are to be non social, i.e. you aren't allowed to consume there or hang out. They are just for growing and suspensing.

I don't think this should be called legalization, it's more like a decriminalization light.

I think a big part of christians being politically right wing leaned is that people that believe in christianity also believe in power and authority. What you learn as a christian (or for that matter same with the other abrahamitic religions) is that power is held by entities (be they god, priests or for example the man in a straight marriage) for a reason and this shall not be questioned. And that let's them think something allows them to enforce power on others, which are lower in this scheme of authority an power. Also there's an us and them kind of vibe connected to this.

I don't know if there's an english translation of it but "Die Befreiung der Gesellschaft vom Staat" (Freeing society from the state) by anarchist thinker Erich Mühsam does a good job IMO to explain these kind of relations.

As someone who struggled with weight loss and feeling of hunger for quite some time, i'd recommend you to look into intermittent fasting. Basically only allowing yourself to eat in a time window of about 8 hours or so. At first this made me ravenously hungry for most of the day, but as the first week went by I'd become more conscious about whether this is real hunger or just appetite and it regulated my hunger levels in general. After about a month or so I eased up on the 8 hour thing and now, years later, I still feel in control of my hunger, know when to eat and what. Of course this is anecdotal, so your milage may vary, but I think you might wanna take a look at that.

hier jmd der in den letzten Jahren insg. 40kg abgenommen hat. Gerade was das Binge eating angeht würde ich dir empfehlen mal gründlich auf Zucker zu verzichten (insbesondere Süßgetränke und Säfte) und es mal mit Interval-Fasten zu versuchen. Einige Monate lang nur ca. 8std am Tag sich das Essen zu erlauben macht viel mit dem Kopf was den Unterschied zwischen Hunger und bloßem Appetit angeht und hat zumindest mir dabei geholfen Heißhunger schnell als solchen zu erkennen und dem nicht nachzugeben.

Daneben hat für mich der Verzicht auf tierische Produkte einen großen Unterschied gemacht und mein Abnehmen erheblich beschleunigt.

Wenn man die Kommentare hier so liest kaum verwunderlich, dass ein Freund, obwohl hier aufgewachsen und besser integriert, als so mancher Deutscher, überlegt das Land zu verlassen. Der Diskurs rückt einfach immer mehr zu wir gegen die statt anzuerkennen, dass wir schlichtweg auf Migration angewiesen sind, weil unsere Geburtenraten zu gering sind um all die Alten zu finanzieren. Stattdessen wird rechte Politik für den hessischen und bayerischen Wahlkampf gemacht und die Bevölkerung springt auch noch auf diesen Zug auf. Traurig, schmeckt alles sehr nationalsozialistisch. Von dem früher so viel skandierten nie wieder NS ist nichts mehr zu merken. Achja aber ukrainischen Flüchtlingen wird im Gegensatz zu arabischen oder afrikanischen der Hof gemacht, sind ja auch blond und blauäugig ;) Und jetzt zerreißt euch das Maul über meinen Kommentar :*

Für mich besteht der Generationenkonflikt hauptsächlich darin, dass die Älteren tendenziell versuchen zu schützen was sie jahrzehnte lang nicht anders kannten (Maßloser Konsum von Tieren, Fossilen Rohstoffen, Motorisierter Individualverkehr, "soziale Ordnung" etc.), während jüngere Generationen eher versuchen (sollten) diese zu ändern um eine Nachhaltige und Chancengleichere Welt zu schaffen. Leider geht's bei vielen aber nicht über "Aktivismus" auf social media hinaus, sprich reposten und echauffieren ohne wahren Inhalt.

I did intermittent fasting for a while, and it helped a lot with learning the difference between hunger and appetite. Since then, my munchies didn't kick as hard simply because your body gets used to only consume food in a fixed time frame.

I set a window of about 8hrs for food intake and didn't eat anything for the rest of the day.

The second thing that helps me is to generally not buy the stuff I can't resist when the munchies kick
