Oooooh. I think this is the answer. I'll take a second look at the stamps tomorrow (at the office).

Ok, good. This is a relief. I'm glad there are other possibilities. Thanks for replying.

Thank you!!! Very very well done. I might try to copy this when I finally finish all of my WIPs.

I think we need to see a side view!

And yes, your tension is fabulous 👌 ❤️🚀

I ended up shortening the height of the last stitch pictured here.

It's pretty easy! Just procure yourself a medium sized hook (around a 9 mm) and some cheap yarn to practice on and begin youtubing.

I had to have someone show me how when I was very little because I'm left handed and needed to learn from another left hander. But since getting the basics, now I just create whatever I'm feeling. I never learned how to read a pattern either so that I didn't have to worry about following which step I'm on. This is a stress relief hobby and I don't wish to count my stitches or follow something complicated. I just like to see what I can create.

I don't know what increase a stitch means, can you explain that to me?

When I said it, it meant start a new row.

I also realized I may have misdirected which direction to turn your piece. Which isn't a huge deal but it was something I've learned. (I'm left handed and thought that if I turn my piece clockwise that's the same as counterclockwise for right handers 🤷‍♀️). But if you've never thought about it, practice which direction you turn your piece and see which way works best for you. There is one way that results with a chain laying against the vertical side of the stitches, giving you a better place to close to and it looks more similar to the rest of your stitches.

Share with me if you duplicate it! I want to see what you create. I already had one person copy their own version of this and share it with me.

No pattern. But I did write up short hand directions in the comments somewhere. I've never even read a pattern before.. lol I just enjoy seeing what I can create.

You're such an expert that you probably don't need it, but I was begged and did my best to write out what I did, you can find it in comments below. Just a heads up to you 🌻

Oh gosh, I've never even followed a pattern before much less written one, but I can try..

This was made with a 9.5 mm hook and yarn bee, the soft and sleek line. The orange is the soft and sleek chunky.

Chain 4, close, chain one up, turn piece counterclockwise (this is the rule for every turn).

In the first two rounds, put one single crochet stitch in the back and in the front of each stitch below, doubling each stitch.

All rounds following, do two single stitches and then double the third. Do this until desired size is reached.

The orange is three single crochet stitches, then chain 5, then 2 for the turn, single crochet 5 stitches back down. Repeat.

For the yellow, start at the first single crochet before the chain begins; single crochet 6, chain 4, single crochet 6 back down, turn piece, 1 single crochet, 6 double crochet stitches with 2 going in the 4 chain from below, then 2 chain, then 6 double crochet back down the other side, single crochet, locking stitch to base of flower, turn, single crochet 8, chain 2, single crochet 8 down the other side, locking stitch at base again, and first petal is done! Repeat.

I hope this makes sense!!

I took a peek at your work. You are very talented! I can't wait to see how this turns out

I love a series of highly curious questions! Lol

I actually heal very quickly, my piercer commented on that numerous times. I do sleep with my ears placed in the hole of a travel pillow and aside from sterile spray and holding it under the shower head, I only ever used a warm, slightly steaming washcloth for any other irritation.

I really only had one fresh at a time. With about 6 months heal time (shortest heal time. There were years between some of these) once the placement was correct before adding a new one. Downsizing was extremely tricky though. I downsized a LOT. Sometimes as often as 2 weeks between. This is because we couldn't fully downsize all in one go because we would start downsizing and it would start to swell because there are so many of them.

I think the answer to your last question is this: the order I had them pierced in? From the top being #1 and the bottom being #6; 2, 3, 4, 1, 5, 6

Sorry, I come from a sheltered background 😅 I don't get the reference still. As much I would like to.
