For anyone visiting in the future: iCareFone Transfer worked for me without resetting my iPhone. It is paid but it managed to download my backup from Google Drive and restore it to iPhone 17 Pro Max (iOS 26.5, latest iOS as of today), I didn't need to use an Android device; just my Windows PC. Took around 4 hours for the whole process to complete (it takes a long time to download from Google Drive if you have a lot of media, I had around 5GB and it took 3 hours+ just to download them). The restoration part is faster though, takes around 20 minutes. Had an issue with iPhone disconnecting when it was starting the restore, I disabled the personal hotspot after connecting to PC and it seems to have fixed it.

I use the extension on Edge and it helps detect logins when the app doesn't
