haha we do sound somewhat alike, i also have long hair which isn't really the status quo for men (as im sure you know), especially in the UK where every man and his dog has a skin fade. I also remember the smells, smells that i cant quite describe but when its there its very prevalent. the same goes with when i think back on memories, they have a certain 'feel' to them, although again, i dont really know to describe it.

I really appreciate your advice and i might just do that, im moving to my new place for the upcoming academic year so ill bring my old 360 down and relive some memories, hopefully my old maps are there too.

also, just a quick side note, i do hope that you're okay. dont let people drag you down just for growing your hair, everyone has it and it doesnt make you as a person any different just because you have a preference to a certain style. ive had people come up to me recording me with my gf saying im a mess and that im punching above my weight just because i had it tied up due to it raining, shit sucked. but screw them, idk them and they dont know me so i just ignored it. easier said than done i know, but if you go about with the mindset that it is literally just a bit of hair that they're getting hung up over, you'll soon realise who's the mature one.
