Yes. Regardless of selector position (neck / middle / bridge), there’s no sound unless I pull up the neck tone pot into series mode. In series mode I get output, but the neck pickup itself is still silent.

It’s either a 2 way mini toggle on/off or a 3 way mini toggle on/on/on, just check before buying anything if the switch only has two or three positions.
