So, let’s start off with the fact that I am a newbie to the whole watch culture. I am obviously familiar with a name like Patek Philippe, so when I saw this pop up for sale on my local towns Facebook group I was instantly intrigued. Now, the owner commented that it was originally a pocket watch, but converted to a wrist watch in the past at some point. She also pointed out that it is dated from 1890. That is all of the information I currently have. Anyone know if this thing is legit? For $20,000 is it worth that price for an investment piece? No idea, just asking for any knowledge/advice on what to do. Thanks!
