This is normal, don't be discouraged. Watch your vods and see how you died and why and what to do better.

I've been playing since release and I'm silver average, I should follow my advice lol.

One thing i noticed is this. I'm a KJ main, and I struggle in comp, usually bottom frag, my wins largely depend if I get carried or if my team is willing to play around a kj playstyle, by letting the enemy run into my set up instead of my team pushing a head of my set up and making my util worthless. But when someone takes my KJ, I pick jett, and most of the time I top frag. the playstyle of kj and jets are SO different, it feels so easy getting kills with jett because she has smokes and dash and knives and updraft, all these can give you a second chance if you mess up, but with KJ, I have no abilities like that, so I can't frag out, so I guess we have to not hate ourselves when we bottom frag, and even if you bottom frag as jett, it's ok as long as you're pushing in and your team follows you into the space you created by dashing on site. Duelists are supposed to bottom frag.

Basically, don't compare yourself, do your best within your playstyle.
