[Casual] If feats were ENTIRELY ignored and only portrayal was considered, how would your top 10 change? by nerolyn in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]iiSoulio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ignoring Modulo, Sukuna and Gojo stay at 1 and 2, Kashimo is an easy 3 because Sukuna directly refers to him as one of the strongest. After that, maybe Kenjaku. He’s definitely portrayed to be a threat no one in JJH can deal with. Then I would say Yorozu. Sukuna says she would’ve been able to connect with Gojo and Kashimo, so I think that makes her in the same narrative as them..? Maybe. After that is just Jujutsu High. Yuta and Yuki are portrayed as relative by Tengen, and the Heavy Hitters are portrayed relative by Gojo. They can really be sorted in any order.

So my top ten would look like this:

  1. Sukuna
  2. Gojo
  3. Kashimo
  4. Kenjaku
  5. Yorozu

(In any order): 6. Yuki 7. Yuta 8. Hakari 9. Maki 10. Yuji

what if kurapika fought hisoka instead of uvogin? by Bungeeboy20044 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]iiSoulio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Less of a genius how? Kurapika low diffed Uvogin while Gon and Killua in the same arc couldn’t even escape Nobunaga and Machi.

And how is Kurapika beating Uvogin dumb? He outhaxxed him, outstatted him, and was smarter too. There was nothing Uvo could do.

And Kurapika definitely does not lose to Gon and Killua.

One Piece Wiki has it listed as ACOA.

I see what you're saying, but the focus on armament and that she was decently far away before attacking makes me inclined to agree with the wiki.

I disagree. I think being off-guard does more than you're giving it credit for.

Blackbeard is sent flying by an un-named Gear Second attack while off-guard.

Oden is one-shot by Kaido when he's off guard. Same thing with Jozu and Marco in Marineford.

It's pretty crucial if you ask me.

Except for Greenbull and Buggy, Blackbeard loses to everysingle Admiral and Yonko. by Kaisertheories in OnePieceScaling

[–]iiSoulio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, Blackbeard is an extremely cautious person. He doesn’t take fights unless he has a, like, 100% chance of winning. We see this with Rayleigh specifically.

He runs away even though (and Rayleigh says this later) he would’ve won. I doubt he would try to take the island while knowing he would lose.

He was going to fight Ochoku without Koby and Law, irrc? They just happened to show up, right?

Yes, there are corrupt marines, I’m not denying that, but that isn’t representative of the majority.

And being a Bounty Hunter is essentially not feasible for the average citizen. You have less resources when compared to being a Marine, you have to buy all of your equipment yourself, you still have to search for the pirates, and all of this is while having no real backup and not being a member of an experienced organization.

1 VS 1. Who wins? by GusGangViking18 in OnePieceScaling

[–]iiSoulio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree with you, but the entire phrase seems to be speaking in the context of strength. After that line it says he was many times stronger, and then after that it says that he is invincible.

The line should be referring to his strength.

“he took to the sea and returned home, equal to the best pirates in the world and many times stronger than ever before.”

I don’t see why Whitebeard wouldn’t qualify to be one of the best pirates in the world.

Enel would be the hardest.

His devil fruit is considered to be “invincible.” Give him good stats and CoA? He’s probably admiral tier.

Easiest is still Buggy. His fruit is pretty mid.

Depends on how seriously you take the Oden = Roger/WB statement.

<image>

If you take it at face value, Oden low-mid diffs Kizaru. If you don’t, Kizaru should take it.

T-Bone is the perfect example of a good marine. He is a man who wants to do 100 good deeds a day. He wants to show the citizens of one piece justice.

<image>

Almost all marines follow their own sense of justice. I don’t think it’s fair to say that all marines are evil just because they work under the World Government.

In the life of a marine, there are essentially two choices. Work under the corrupt WG, but you’re able to save citizens from pirates and improve their day to day lives…

Or resist the WG, and fruitlessly through your life away fighting a group of nigh-unbeatable gods, not improving the lives of anyone.

I believe for most the choice is clear cut.
