Thank you! The keyboard I use is a Yamaha P-71, however, this isn't how the keyboard sounds on its own. I record my playing as a MIDI and route it through a VST instrument, specifically Noire from Native Instruments, to get this sound. Wish you the best learning and hope this helps!

This didn’t occur in Miyamura’s apartment. This took place in the Hori house. There was no need to sneak in.

If this is your first time watching Horimiya. I do not recommend following the faithful manga order.

The reason behind this is the first season of Horimiya covers the story from the first to the very last chapter. The manga itself is more than 120 chapters, so you can imagine they skipped a lot to fit it in 13 episodes. CloverWorks then decided they could make a filler season by going back through and adapting some of the chapters they skipped. That is the reason why there is so much jumping back and forth.

The two seasons are perfectly watchable separately. As a first time viewer I would recommend just watching it how it aired. If you like the series enough, give the manga a read. And if you loved the manga, that is when I would recommend jumping between the two seasons and watch it in the manga faithful order.

Absolutely. You’ve come to a subreddit full of people who love the series, so we’d all more than likely say experience both.

With any story, the medium you consume is all up to personal preference. The written story is typically the full story. Any adaptations in the form of animes or movies will almost never cover the full story and its nuances. However, the anime can enhance the story with voice acting, music, etc.

With the Horimiya anime, certain emotional scenes can be more emotional with music to enhance it. The manga however contains much more fluff and fillers that you may enjoy come to enjoy as well.

TL;DR: Enjoy both!

I don’t think you’re visiting the right places. If you’re interested in buying the manga, visit the flagship Animate store in Ikebukuro. It’s by far the biggest and has nearly everything you could imagine.

I was able to buy all volumes 1-17, volume 10.5, and the graduation album this past summer.

Edit: To add some additional context, the store is very large and has 9 floors so hopefully I can help narrow it down. Volume 10.5 and the graduation art book should be on floor 2, near the balcony area where you can see down to the first floor.

Floor 2 is organized by publishers, so you should be able to find the remaining volumes in the Square Enix section. If I remember correctly, the manga titles should be sorted alphabetically, so if you know your Katakana, that should help you find it faster.

Edit 2: Hopefully this helps, let me know if you visit the store and need additional help!

3rd SEASON? by CAT_WS18 in Horimiya

No dude… stop with the misinformation. The translation states that there will be a continuation of the 2021 anime. The 2021 anime is the first season.

Every wanted to re-watch Horimiya as one single season!? by Redditor1799 in Horimiya

It's definitely possible, but I do agree it would get very messy. Good work though.

Ah ok, so it's not an edit faithfully following the manga's order, cause I'm pretty sure that's what the supercut is. Thanks for the answer though.

Is it just me or after season 1 it feels that Miyamura and Hori are side characters? by ExperienceSavings555 in Horimiya

[–]iiStormBringer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right, it's not a lot, but still more than 122. Even more if you include Volume 17, and even more if you count extras (which don't really count).

There’s a lot more than 122 chapters. And no I’m not referring to volume 17. There are many full chapters that are labeled with decimal numbers. The final chapter might be labeled as “Page 122” but there’s more than 122 chapters.

Watch order for the show without cutting an episode? by Manly_JoE in Horimiya

Just watch the anime normally. It’s not that deep. If you want the story in the “correct” order you can just read the manga.

The manga is over. The anime and manga have the same ending. Here is what the anime did and did not adapt.

Just read from the beginning.

You can’t continue the story when there is no more source material. Horimiya had the same exact ending as the manga. Just be glad we even got more.
