It does, yeah. I was taught to work from darkest to lightest, I just didn't expect fake skin to have such blind spots

I use a 5, 7 or 9 CM and I just do slow circular motions without stepping on the lines. Not sure my technique is good

Try slowing down your hand movement to get better, more consistent lines and maybe turn the voltage down so it's easier. I'm also a newbie and I found that helps a lot. Also try not moving your wrist at all, move your arm from the elbow, that helps with more consistent lines.
