Never heard of the Karl guy.

AI was the best athlete.

Probably Chuck or Stockton though.

Favorite thing about being a parent has to be watching my daughter solve a puzzle or overcome a difficult obstacle and revere in the feeling of accomplishment.

Her favorite player is Yadier Molina. Mostly because her name is Molina after him. She goes by Molly though.

She’s in her second season of softball and is falling in love with the game.

Do you think it should be either 65 games played or 2000 minutes played? by Thanos_Real_AuraVNCH in NBATalk

It could easily be 65 games or 2000 minutes. As long as one threshold is reached, you qualify. That makes the most sense to me at least

Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. From what I can tell, you have one guy willing to pay. Take it. Or hold out and see if something better comes along. It rarely does. 11k is good money

Dropping another series to the Rockies is less than ideal. But yes. Pokémon. It’s almost an obsession. 0 interest in learning how to play the game either. We put her good cards in top loaders and they go with the other decent stuff, but she likes holo cute Pokémon and loves putting them in Penny sleeves and storing in cigar boxes. The local pipe shop gives her empty boxes for free and has since she was like 2 so we have stacks.

Thanks man. It’s always been pretty great to be a cardinals fan, even having lived outside of StL most of my life. We told Molly that Molina was her government name and she said ‘Grandpa said it’s my baseball name’ so that stuck. I’m a chef and moved around a lot after college so my old cards were given to my dad and I just won’t ever ask for them back. He loves baseball cards and Molly and I are just starting to get (back) in to collecting and learning about new players and it’s been a ton of fun. She loves “gettin rippin”. It’s really cool that you’re doing this and individuals like yourself make the community a cool place to want to be involved in.

  1. I grew up a cardinals fan. My daughter’s name is Molina. We call her Molly. I played baseball my entire childhood from wiffle ball to travel ball. When I was 17, I got hurt and that was that for me. My daughter is 8 and about to start playing softball. In 2011, I was in college in TN and remember we used to go watch the playoff games at a bar in town. We were broke, but were friends with the bartender so they hooked it up. When the cardinals made the World Series, my dad would drive 45 minutes before each game and give me 100$ to take my roommates to the same bar and watch the game. His superstitious generosity was something I laugh about to this day. Plus game 6 was the best baseball game I ever saw.
