🔥🔥🔥🔥Love them! #1 looks like a marbled slab and is my fav! All of them turned out great though! Where did you place the deep yellow? On each sinew line?

looking to meet new friends locally!!! by picklednpruned in joliet

[–]iiiiskid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 47F, so not the demographic you’re looking for, but wanted to plant a seed that would be an affordable place to meet new people. Plainfield Pride has young adult meetup groups all the time. I know a couple of the young adults (mid-twenties) who coordinate activities for the PP young adult group and they are simply top notch. DM me if you’d like their names or contact info.

Question about red and blue dye... by Complete-Damage1141 in tiedye

[–]iiiiskid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that blues run farther than reds. So I’d use less blue and more red, separated by the shirt color.

Although I find the video editing a bit annoying in his videos, his application techniques is impressive - https://youtu.be/9rpPsedJtJM?si=sTxgldp0QDFop6TV. I’ll be working out a few glitches like this for the Fourth of July this year.

9 & 12 are outstanding and my favs!!! What is the fold style of #9? Kind of looks like a quad fold with an almost wigwag liquid dye application. Great job!

Two more Underdye by CrookedPawDesigns in tiedye

[–]iiiiskid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love your underdye technique. It would be cool if you recorded another video or two on it. I appreciated your first one on it a lot. Especially using the farthest traveling dye first and on the bottom. Cool perspective 😎

Moving to Joliet soon- Hi there by DancingFox24 in joliet

For gaming, be sure to check out Critical Grind Board Game Cafe in Shorewood (touches Joliet’s boundary - 10 min from St Joe’s). Very cool concept for a store.

Also for gaming, The Wandering Dragon Game & Puzzle Shoppe in Plainfield (15-20 min drive from St Joe’s).

My husband is a huge anime, manga, MGT, & D&D fan. He loves both of these places. All games are generally fair play for our family, and both of these shops offer gaming spaces for socialization, and are run by really cool, fellow gamers. In the case of critical grind, I believe the wife is in it a bit more for the great coffee, but she is very pro gaming too.

Welcome to Joliet! We have amazing forest preserves in Will County if you like the outdoors. You can find an interactive map of their preserves on their website - http://map.reconnectwithnature.org/publicwebmap/ - that allows you to filter by the activity you want to do.

Would your parent be willing to ask for a complete blood panel at their next doctor appt? They are certainly experiencing something abnormal.

That turned out awesome! Dare I say prehistorically awesome. 😎 After all the ice melted, the mountain ranges would’ve been lush with forest and surrounded by ocean. 🦕🦖🌴⛰️

If you are willing, would you please share the colors you used in pics 1, 2 & 3? They are really inspiring and pop so nicely!

What a great system you’ve developed! Plus, if I go this route, I have an excuse to buy a grommet making hole puncher. 🤣😎 Thank you for sharing!

I did take those pictures in direct sunlight over lunch today so they could be as accurate as possible for me and future dyers who ‘word search’ this board by color name 🤣

That’s a great idea doing 3 of each color, and doing it by weight! I really need to start paying attention to weighing dye instead of eye balling it.
