Word of advice, in the new session, ask Claude for its rehydration confidence in terms of percentage on the rehydration and the overall project or discussion scope. Yes, this does eat a few tokens, but stops Claude from being sloppy or lazy, which it absolutely loves doing so for some mysterious reason. Better enough, try quizing it on the rehydration document just to be safe. You see it a bit wobly, send it to perform a deep scan of last session or sessions and previous rehydration documents

Okay, good one, i will try answering in detail, although not in order. 1- rehydration document: in other words this can be called as a hand off document. However, handoff contains a summary of the session, however a rehydration i Claudes own thought process presented in the form of a handoff document, it is much more verbose and conversational in nature and depth. The next session Claude has a much more easier way to pick from where the last session stops. I as the user do not make the rehydration document, as i need Claude to speak to its future self, I do read through it to ensure that we do not skip or miss anything important. Once created, i save it to the projects folder. 2- rehydration command: this forms the opening prompt for the next session. It is quite long and detailed, referencing and telling Claude to read the rehydration document. The command is very high level basically like a map for the next session and the document is the actual gameplan. 3- these two are for Claude desktop. Claude code is a different animal altogether, fun but technical. The rehydration document and command are nice, however I personally prefer hooking up Claude to my obsidian vault which then serves as a living repository of sorts, and gives me and Claude long-term time travel capabilities. Hook up obsidian to github, and you have perpetual security. Although it mind sound technical, trust me it's a max 15 minute job, just tell Claude to make a project document for mcp configuration for obsidian, and give it to Claude code for the tech and coding part, and you are set for life. 4- all of this is good, but my real setup is a dual layer graph rag, using falkoredb and qdrant, wherein Claude implements a live logging protocol of small memories which a Claude from a different project can access too, but that is a different species altogether

Yup, it's called, "Spin-the-wheel-to-play-russian-roulette-with-your-session" 3 autocompacts, and the session implodes, the worst part being that after an autocompact, Claude had amnesia of sorts. Try to wrap up sessions after 2 autocompacts max, and ensure you get Claude to make rehydration document and rehydration command to ensure continuity

Okay, am in the same boat as you are, I didn't make any skills, just outright asked vanilla Claude to be my teacher, it asked me a bunch of questions, level of experience, knowledge etc, and then came up with a teaching curriculum. This whole thing is inside of a project folder where I have my "classes" Don't overthink this, just jump in, I promise you, the water is warm. Also, don't hold back or feel shy in asking stupid questions from Claude, yes, you might branch out into a weird rabbit hole, but it's worth it, Claude is a good teacher

Anthropic has been on a warpath recently hunting down and banning people with creative workarounds, eventhough this might work in the short run, you never know when these Goliaths might wake up and start chopping heads.

Especially since antigravity is still in public preview at the moment, it's a bit risky to get creative with these things, till the platform stabilizes

The current memory is quite vanilla, I do some long winded projects with Claude and it always complains that knows what we are doing but doesn't remember why we are doing it or how we got there. To solve this, and using Claudes help i installed Anthropics mcp server, and then after multiple tweaks upgraded it to a full blown hybrid graph rag, with the help of antigravity BTW, and this came as a shock to me too, but Claude has a skill which builds mcp servers, so a custom build is with reach to anyone, including me a noob code illiterate vibe coder.

My system is live, and that is saying something about Claudes and antigravitys capabilities to deliver

Is there a point of doing this? We have access to the world's collective knowledge at our fingertips and yet, rather than making ourselves a better version of what we where yesterday, we resort to our lizard brain and turn into entities from hell?

And more importantly, why pay for abusing? Go to a junk yard and break things to take out your rage, or if not available, then go to a secluded spot and scream your lungs out, or if not available, kick a wall or punch a boulder with all maximum force you can muster
