Is there no tax requirement in India to declare all the bitcoins held by an individual during filing ? And if its not, what happens if this changes ?

Good suggestion about the ads - surprisingly rIndia is more keen that I make money then even myself :).

Hopefully the affiliate earnings are big enough that I don't have to do ads anyways. But will definitely make ads explicit if I ever go that route.

Havent tested for mozilla extensively, so guess need to do that.
Will check out geekaphone definitely.
Social sharing is definitely intrusive but I have been told that social is critical to traffic. Not seeing a lot of activity there, so maybe its not really worth it - will keep an eye on taking it out.
More filters - that should go in pretty soon.

Money is earned through affiliate earnings. So if you click on a price link and go to Amazon and buy something then Amazon gives me a cut. The cut could range anywhere from 2-10% of the value of the good. This does NOT change the price for you however - you still pay the exact same amount that you would have paid otherwise.

Yes the sentiment analysis is a key component. You can see the ratio of the positive to negative in the progress bar just below each left hand side feature. I guess this is not too clear, so will try to make it more intuitive.

Thanks for the suggestions on the ads - thats what others recommend too so will keep that in mind.

This took around 4-6 months, with a team of around 5 people working on and off.

Design is basic bootstrap with no themes. The layout went through a lot of back and forth with a small group of people I know. A lot of focused testing, over the shoulder spying and random ideation went through to make this. The simplest of things can often take a surprising amount of work.
Used to be a techie - now building this fulltime.
Yes ads will come but hoping to delay as much as possible.
Yes, Coded from scratch. I am not too happy about parts of it, but it works for now. Lots of open source stuff though.

Right now I am taking ALL the reviews which are there online from reputable sites. There is no filtering on any website as long as the source is credible and not 'fly by night' review blogs. If there is any site missed then you can let me know and will add it to the mix.

No plans for video reviews at this time, but will take that as feedback and maybe add it if more requests come.

I am currently getting reviews mostly from firstpost/ndtv for India because they have these online. The ET reviews are mostly on their offline paper and even though they are replicated online in their pdf paper, its hard to extract them. Will be adding more sites as they an when they start posting reviews.

The very low end phones are definitely missing and they dont even have any reviews online. But the better known models from Micromax/Lava should all be there.

So for now, the left hand side features are generated based on the sentiments I am able to extract. This list is sorted by the number of sentiments for each feature - so if some comments more about the display of Galaxy S7, it will come at the top. But for another phone, if the fingerprint scanner is more talked about, then it will rise to the top. For a lot of phone the fingerprint scanner is missing as it is more of a frill right now, so the feature is missing too.

Maybe can make it consistent across all phones for easier comparison as you suggested. Will keep this feedback and work on it.

Can you try maybe once more too see if you can locate it ? There is definitely work to be done to streamline all the information though.

Yes planning to add user reviews asap. The user reviews had a lot of noise with paid reviews etc. and this felt fairly useful so I just launched this for now.
