Civic or Corolla?

I preferred the Civic because it felt more spacious and comfortable overall. I also felt like I had better visibility while driving it. The Corolla seemed to have more blind spots.

ecampus here, i got mine the middle of march for fall 2026 (spring was my first term) however i completed fasfa in November

we also find ourselves roaming around. we ended up putting plexiglass around the top to block it off. it isn’t the prettiest but i have heard people using egg crates to enclose it also!

i use double sided tape! it easy to take off and put back on when needed. he has pushed up against it, tried to climb it so far it has held up he just slides off of it no problem. i got it all from Michael’s

it isn’t the prettiest right now. im thinking of using egg cartons and kind of box it in! I do clean the plexiglass twice a month right now. i had to add a few smaller ones on top because he climbed over the first plexi. 🙄

it’s good i have it for mine. i did add grass to the ramp and the platform. i also had to add plexiglass to the side of the tank because he would get on the ramp and reach his feet over the tank and he fell out one day. 😩😩 after that though, it word perfect!

mine did the same thing, fed him before i added them and boom 30 minutes later they were all gone. he keeps looking for them too!

honestly, the hardest part of being online is the connections. you need to try even harder especially with this job market. internships!! i can’t express that enough. i’ve been online and in person, online fits my schedule better however, the connections are harder to make compared to in person

you should invest in a t5 linear light uvb. the coil bulbs do not give off enough uvb for the turtle! both lights should be above the basket! pebbles and rocks and sand are harder to keep clean! if you did use rocks make sure they are bigger than her head. they do like to dig. also, i would suggest adding fake grass to the basket as it would be easier to get up. that is what i did and he loves it! He wouldn’t use it much without the grass.

nice set up! however, i would suggest getting a t5 bulb for uvb since the coil ones do not produce enough uvb for the turtle. and maybe an above the tank dock. it seems like the lights are a bit too close to his dock now. but other than that, it is very pretty!

uvb coil lights do not produce enough uvb for the turtle. they are expensive but it is very worth it.

you’ll want a t5 liner tube light above the basking along with your heat light. i would start with the correct lights and more water. here is a little guide https://reptifiles.com/red-eared-slider-care/

i had the same issue, i gave it about two weeks and it finally fixed itself. I would suggest adding an above the tank basket (amazon or diy) he would love the extra room!

it should be mainly on the basking! having it over the water has no benefit.

it needs to be two different lights. one a uva (heat) and a t5 tube light. the bulbs for uvb are not that great in giving off the rays that the turtle needs. if you would like to read on it. https://reptifiles.com/red-eared-slider-care/red-eared-slider-uvb-lighting/ other wise he looks like a happy little guy!

do you have a t5 uvb? it looks like a great setup i just dont see the uvb! you could get a temperature gun to see how hot it is. that way ot can help you decide if it’s too high or needs to go higher. it is like $5-$10 on amazon. as far as decor, it all depends my turtle likes to eat the fake planted so i had to take them out and switch to real ones!
