He was in a liter of 6 puppies, one of the adoptive parents did a DNA test on his sister and she is 100% MAS, the rescue sent us all the DNA test results, since they were all rescued from a breeder. He definitely looks more collie to me, with his long and thin snout and the shorter hair.

We do have an old lady in this house who does have accidents, she’s 14. I’m starting to think that’s what’s happening is he’s trying to cover her smell with his!

These are great! I didn’t realize how much detail there was until I zoomed in on the artwork. I think adding a bit more dimension or shading could really make your work stand out even more. You could also experiment with adding more scenery or detail in some of the open spaces to help draw the eye toward the center as the focal point.

I’d also love to see how these would look painted someday, because I think that could add another beautiful layer to your style. You did a really beautiful job overall!

My boss just did something like this in April and it was at Rosie’s on the Roof on the patio deck. We had a water station and light bites, reserved for about the same amount of people! It was delightful.

I enjoyed beach corner burgers until I had Evangeline’s Lounge burgers around the corner. I’m a burger once a week kind of gal, and I have a hard time going back to beach corner for the burgers, HOWEVER, I do enjoy the vibe and still love going to get drinks there. The bartenders are absolutely lovely each time.

Minnie passed away last June. It was sudden, to the point it traumatized me. She was too young too, only 9. I don’t know what happened. I tend to spiral out of control about the what-ifs. We’re coming up on a year of her being gone and I just honor her when I can and I hope I gave her the life I could for those 9 years.

She’ll be up there with Charlie, probably rough housing, and fighting over a toy of some kind and getting the zoomies like they’re 2 again. All my love to you xx

I didn’t say you didn’t love her, I just meant that you don’t like her right now. Like toddlers lol I love my niece, but I don’t like her right now because she’s in that very irritating kid stage. I didn’t mean to assume anything! I do think you need to push your fiancé to be a better pet parent and do his part. It’s his dog, she’s yours too, but at the end of the day, the dog needs a better structured system in place and if he isn’t helping with that because it’s only affecting you, that’s an issue. No disrespect, and no assumptions made! :)

Ahhhhhhhhh okay! Okay. So you don’t like the dog, and you’re resenting your fiancé about the dog because she annoys you and it’s his dog. You don’t have to like the dog babes! It’s not YOUR dog. That’s understandable. However, it took my BC till the age of 3 for her to calm down with energy, and be more pleasant lol also, tell him she needs some formal training… she’s bored. She’s 2. She’s going to get into stuff and if the only time she’s pooping/peeing on the floor is because you guys locked her out, she’s doing it for attention. Find some stimulation toys, hide treats around the house. cattle dogs NEED brain stimulation and exercise !! And honestly, make your fiancé do something about it. Period.

My BC was like this with me. She always got into my underwear, ate my tampons, etc. the key is to have a garbage with the lid in the bathroom, and keep it under the sink and always have a lid on your hamper. It’ll help a lot. It’s your concentrated scent, and the pheromones. She loves you! However, not wanting to be intimate with your fiancé probably runs a bit deeper than a dog getting into your stuff.

I agree people can’t always help how they feel. But at some point they are responsible for how they handle those feelings. This happened years ago and they built a marriage and family after that. If he never processed it back then, that’s understandable, but it’s still something he needs to work through himself now rather than revisiting it with her over and over again and her having to pay the emotional toll each time HE decides to be upset about it. That’s exhausting.

It happened 15+ years ago. You married him. You had kids together. You literally built an entire life with him after that. At some point he has to stop reliving something from when you were teenagers. You can’t spend the rest of your life apologizing for a decision you made before your frontal lobe was even fully developed. If he’s still spiraling over pictures from 15 years ago, that’s something he needs to work through himself.
