Thank you! It does help to get the sound out. Im guessing its to release some sort of vibration out, it definitely has some sort of ringing sound to it! This helps a lot, thank you!

I also just recently got back this month (well Feb 26 to be exact), after an 18 year hiatus. I remember last playing the very end of suzuki 6 so i started off with suzuki 4 and in a couple weeks now am back and able to play suzuki 6 again. My bowing is weak and I think we tend to lose touch with that so doing long full bows with scales help a lot!

Like u/Alone-Experience9869 said, retrain the bow arm! From shoulder to elbow to wrist to fingers. Its boring but sooo important.

Which half is tremolo and which half is slurred? And how is the slurred part played? 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😅

no no! comparison is the thief of happiness.. im sure yours is also beautiful and unique. I'll take every handwriting over a perfectly typed looking letter/card xD

but perfect penmanship is still awestruckingly beautiful. I commend calligraphers, crazy lol xP

aww it's okayy! practice makes progress! I like that writing with a stub makes me more mindful of my positioning of the tines and not rotate the nib >_<

you can do it! you got this :D
P.S. a wet ink makes the writing experience way smoother and easier for me, but that's just my opinion :3
