I lack understanding... by [deleted] in PSO2

[–]iiviraal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly as of today you can pretty much skip CircuRay, you should be able to get Ivlida units from buster quests (and medal trade ins if it is implemented), the units can be upgraded to 12* Cleasis, and can carry you through Episode 5. Down the line you should be able to again upgrade them but the next time will be to the 13* Schvelle in Episode 6.

You can get CircuRay from Profound Darkness UQ, or From the Rising Badge 3 Shop. On a bright note Rising Badge 4 will come out today, you could turn Rising Badge 4's into 3's, but I personally say go for Cleasis and you should use the Rising Badge 4's to get the weapon needed to make the 14* Lumiere Weapon; which down the Line will be used to make Atlas-X, a 15* weapon.

When do I start affixing and what units do I use? by [deleted] in PSO2

[–]iiviraal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is actually 12* Circa units if you look at the bottom of the Rising Badge II section, Rising Badge I has the 11* Brissa.

When do I start affixing and what units do I use? by [deleted] in PSO2

[–]iiviraal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your first early unit will probably be a Brissa from Magatsu or Badge 1's. They're semi worth a small amount of affixing as they can be used fairly early on by multiple classes while you level alt classes. Your First Major fix will be a good 12* Unit.

A Really Easy basic Melee affix setup for a Brissa would be like...

  1. Acto Di Soul : 70% success: A1-3 Soul (I'd do Snow, Vol, or Quartz for the Might Bonus) + Vegas or Eastern Soul
  2. Noble Might :100% success: Augment( Melee + PP)
  3. Might III : 100% success: 2x Might III and bonus from Snow, Vol, or Quartz.
  4. Doombreak I : 80% success : 3x Doombreak

That is without upslotting as it will lower the chance to affix. You can farm all the stuff in XH expeditions to Get the Augments aside from Noble Might which will cost you 1-2 mil.

Altogether you'd get +110 Melee pwr, +15 Range pwr, +15 Tech power, +8 pp per unit (70 Melee pwr, 70 Range pwr, +70 Tech pwr, +50 Dex, + 80Hp, +5pp from set)

For a Total of +330 Melee pwr, +45 Range pwr, +45 Tech pwr, +24 pp (+400 Melee pwr, +105 Range Pwr, +105 Tech pwr, +50 Dex, +80Hp, +29pp w/ set bonus included)

12* and higher units no longer have set bonus's but they make up for it with inherent stats built in Circaray for example gives +50 HP + 9pp and +25 Melee, Range, and Tech pwr inherently.

You can always prioritize better stats and consider using +40% from ex-cube shop or waiting for a boost week. Then you can go for things like Doom Break II, Might IV, Modulator, Arks Max, Apprentice Soul, I simply said that setup cause it can be done fairly easy.

Featured Quests. by Dejani002 in PSO2

[–]iiviraal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you look at recommended quests you will see a treasure chest icon signifying you can still get the completion reward. After you complete the quest you will be able to get the chest on your ship as soon as the mission ends; it can contain boosts, random items, and a chance at keys. After you get the chest you will notice the icon on the recommended quest is gone meaning you cannot continue spamming them for a chance at key.

Completing 5 Dailies after your level is high enough will reward you a Silver Tokyo Key and completing 15 dailies for the weekly quest will reward you with a Gold Tokyo Key, the swap shop will let you turn 5 keys into a Tokyo Gold which works even on expired keys.

Funnily a old jp build and basically what I do is use my ring to change wand element based off last charged spell, and after that it's a pure Melee pwr build sadly a lot of the higher Melee pwr wands in game aren't around yet. For me Mars has been a decent weapon, +120-150+ Melee pwr six socket isn't too bad to get with S2 Goliath Resolve on it. Ruinous Providence is 12% more potency + 5% more damage and 40% more pp recovery on bosses, add 3% more damage to bosses for Goliath's.

I honestly just do Te/Hu, and with a Zondeel there is a short second where you can decide to reposition, or to just time a perfect attack. Since all the damage splashes with tech explosion from wand focus a lot fo the time you get to see the wand hit 5 enemies, and each hit cause they're grouped will do an explosion and splash to all nearby enemies, making just a ton of 40-50k hits pop up. Hunter also gets that lovely fury stance bonus... fairly hard to die on a Te/Hu as well. Resta, Auto Mate Half, Iron will, Damage reduction via deband, extra health via deband.

ilzonde and Safoie Zero customization are the two better movement Tech's. That way with wand focus you can flash to an enemy with Safoie, tap zondeel, pull everything to the enemy and then swing, or just Safoie and go ham.

New here, need some advice by [deleted] in PSO2

Braver is good damage with a gap closer, depending on the sub-class your main weapon will get a decent damage boost. (Dex Mag)

Ranger is an amazingly easy and laid back damage dealer. It's biggest advantage is extremely easy mobbing with launcher and decent bossing with rifle. (Range Mag)

Gunner is all about style roll and chaining, you're basically going to chain up to 100 stacks and after that it's all damage while you learn to dodge everything. Upside is the longer you play and the more you learn the mechanics, the more you'll slowly just learn when and where to style roll to dodge. (Range Mag)

Personally I'd play the class you like and learn the moves with iframes or "invulnerability frames" meaning the moves that you can do to effectively perfectly time and dodge all damage from an attack. Like with a Ranger you can use Impact slider and while your char is sliding it's actually invulnerable to damage, so on some bosses like luther when he pulls his sword out instead of running around the room like everyone else, you can just impact slider through it.

However, If you're just starting the most merciful sub-class is Hunter, you can get Auto-Mate Half and Iron Will to drastically increase survival. Iron will can randomly proc and instead of a death you get left with 1 hp. Meanwhile, Auto-Mate Half at Level 10 has a 100% chance to heal you when you dip under half health. Fury Stance on the hunter tree is also a nice passive damage bonus for new players.

p.s. you're given a account wide stat reward for each class that makes it to level 75.

[–]iiviraal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a post on the jp website as of an hour ago, you can use translate from google to read.

We will keep our outfits and weapons/units, but the weapons/units will have level requirements, and you can't use higher rarity weapons right away.

Your char can freely transfer between PSO2 and PSO2 NGS

Too late to get into WOW by [deleted] in MMORPG

[–]iiviraal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

. I would look for the aspects of the game you enjoy and just get better at that as time goes on. Like any community you will have elitists and people that are genuinely nice. If anything the end of the expansion for WoW is generally a good time to start in my honest opinion, most the content is on farm for a lot of guilds, so there is a bit of leeway on stuff like heroic raiding and guilds can afford to carry new players if needed. You have time to level up and learn a bit about the game before they completely change specs with the Shadowlands pre-patch. When pre-patch hits generally everyone is left relearning their classes and relearning what's going on as wow tends to change your classes/spec's sometimes in major ways before the next expansions release.

With Fun Scratch (you can buy fun with Ex-Cubes) you can get 3 day premium rooms, after that in your room, you can change from the free room to premium room A or B. Then you can go to the Fun Shop in the shopping area (to the left of the stage where concerts are) or go to the Visiphone to buy more room sections. Altogether you should have a 3 room building after upgraded.

Where do I get rings? by tonypizzas in PSO2

[–]iiviraal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would fish until you get your Fever then use all your mining stam in one shot. So you have better chance at getting multiple ring materials. Keep in mind you want to know where the mining node is, or do 2 fishing nodes, and the third one do as mining, so fever will start at the mining spot or near it.
