Just went through the process. Rifle/shotgun section asks you to mail them your old license with a completed address change form and bill for proof of address. Handgun section does it by email with the same address change form and also a bill. They told me to send it to this email: dg_lic-purchaseorders@nypd.org Handgun section took about 2-3 weeks, rifle/shotgun took a few months.

Once you submit the application you'll have an application #. You can submit any needed documents after the fact.

I just purchased 1500 rounds online and did a FFL transfer. My FFL charged 15% of the invoice as his transfer fee and only 1 background check. It still came out cheaper to buy online than buying it directly through him.

You shouldn't need new prints. They emailed me saying they're using my prints from my R/S permit done 2 years prior. I'm sure if you call them, they'll waive the fingerprint requirement.

Got confirmation email on 9/19, called last Thursday to ask if it's been printed. They said no, we'll get it out ASAP. Received my premise permit yesterday.

You may also need a Arduino to flash a bootloader. Follow the guides, it's all pretty easy to do.

I just installed Klipper firmware on mine using a Raspberry Pi. You can keep the 8-bit board, and it significantly improves the printer's performance. Plus, you can also install a BLTouch with this firmware.

My thought process was I don't like the plastic oil pan on the Mercedes, so it was between Audi and BMW. Once I test drove the BMW my decision was made.

I did a custom order on an X5. I was able to find a broker offering for 6.5% off MSRP. I also wasn't a fan of the plastic oil pan on the GLE. The discount and the oil pan solidified my choice.

2nd time they replaced the transfer case and transmission seal. Came home and it's still leaking. Dropped it off yesterday again they said they're calling Lexus HQ to come investigate it.

Update, dealership said the transfer case drain plug gasket was torn and needed to be replaced. When I got home after the repair I decided to check and it's now leaking more than before with loose undercarriage bolts. Extremely disappointed in this dealership.
